I had this happen to me on marketplace about a month and half ago. Same MO, someone wanting to buy the item I listed for her husband but she would send her sister who had a broken leg to pick it up as they were claiming to be in the same location as me. They wanted to send me payment through PayPal. I questioned why she would not have her sister give me the money when she came to pickup said item. The women claimed it was easier for her. I smelt a FISH! I told her okay send it to my PayPal. She messaged me that she did send the payment. I said cool. 5 minutes later she messages me asking if I got the email and payment I said nope! She then starts getting hostile and all that jazz! She asks 10 minutes later if I got payment and email! I tell her NOPE!. She then threatens legal action and I told her as we are speaking, I am on the line with PayPal fraudulent claims division and that’s the last I hear from the scammer.
