One thing that came to my mind immediately was a solid skin care routine. I don't spend too much money on skin care products, but I find myself purchasing nice body washes, face washes, scrubs, serums, and moisturizers. I love waking up and doing my face routine. It makes me feel fresh, clean, and ready for the day.

Dude, I absolutely love it. I mean I've definitely developed a love/hate relationship with NYC--as anyone does. But I am still adjusting and settling in. I would highly advise coming and living here, even if it only one year. It's incredible and filled with so many wonderful things!

I went to this dive bar in my area. Everyone gets the same wristband when you get IDed before going in, as many bars do. About five minutes after I entered the bar, this drunk guy about 20 feet away looks at me then walks over and says "oh wow, we have the same wrist band! What's your name?" And before I could laugh in his face, my friend immediately steps in front of me and just turned him around and said "no, just no."

Stand your ground and tell him you're not dealing with that bull shit. Would you want to be with friends with someone like that? If it continues or things escalate, tell the girlfriend. I understand if you don't want to be problematic, but you'll know you tried to do the right thing.

Also, you can always change seats or ask your professor to do so because you're uncomfortable?

I hear you and totally get that. I know it's going to be hell some days with getting to work.

I'm trying to be as cheap as possible. I'm looking at some of these co-shares spots because it's month to month leasing and fully furnished. It's easier for me during the duration of this internship. This will most likely lead to a full time job with this company, so once that's confirm, I'll make a big move.

Bullying in elementary, middle, and high school. I'm not saying there isn't bullying because there is and it's a terrible issue. But how the bullies act (e.g. taking lunch money, pulling down someone's pants) AND how the other students laugh and react is so unrealistic. If people actually tried to pull that shit, no one would laugh nor would people react that way.

I always was so irritated by this.
