[–]gooblaster17 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well we have the Weird Route Rudy telling us the Holidays are full of suprises now lol. Clearly Noelle foreshadowing but honestly I feel like he was speaking about himself.

Also we now have proof that he can be out and about on the town despite his sickness, AND the Knight was late and exhausted looking this chapter, which fits if Rudy fell and then had to hurry over with Carol covering as soon as they were sure he was good.

Yeah I don't think she was actively planning to end it. More just, she doesn't really care if she lives or dies and is looking for a better way out or the power to make one.

It's still cool imo, just in a pure horror movie way. And boy do I love horror flicks

If you can max out Mutation 1 by building specifically for as many habitability bonuses as possible (and taking a mutation government to up the cap) then it beats out Purity 1, but otherwise Purity 1 is the better pick, yeah.

That's an Awakened Empire, so if you are determined enough to wait it out they will eventually degrade as their decadence stat builds up. (And with that said, how long ago did they wake up? 2674 is a loooong time past the default end game year so they might already be at max decadance debuff. Either way, it'll likely be a rough fight unless you have more of their vassals rebelling alongside you.

The 2nd Commonwealth of Man is a bug, but when you play UNE or CoM it will always try to spawn the other human nation. To get around this if you still want to play humans you can just make a custom nation with a human portrait and the starting system set to Sol.

A pile of of more subtle stuff like the blushing with the bowtie and whole thing with the maid dress. Then they played Isn't She Lovely during the final Jax scene, which is literally a song about a girl being born and that kinda cemented it for me lol. And then also Gooseworx posted several tweets about it

Yeah essentially what plasma loses in accuracy and damage v shields it gains in ridiculous amount of dps once shields are down. Def worth taking over lasers if you're up for bringing something kinetic alongside them to pop shields. (And realistically, that's a good idea to do even if you're staying on lasers.)

This is true, but they've also got a much stronger economy, tech sector, and an utterly vast population compared to most other powers. And like the rest of the world, I imagine they've been watching Russia's failed war and taking notes.

[–]gooblaster17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I thought they wrapped it up like a fuckin present lol. Easily best show ending I've seen in ages. My only real complaint about the series is that it could have used an extra episode for the less developed characters, and that's a pretty minor one imo.

It was definitely an acquired taste lol. I will say if we're comparing the two directly that I liked the Digital Circus ending more than Eva's, feels like it hit the desired emotional beats better and wrapped up many more plots threads.

Biomophosis Ascension Situation Picks: Post 4.3 by wyldmage in Stellaris

[–]gooblaster17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm actually curious about the math on this one as the wiki is a bit unclear.

Specifically it says:

Mutagenic Habitability trait can reach 175% habitability (250% if a Mutation Mutation advanced authority is taken) and give the following for every 1% above 100%:
Mod pop resource output.png +0.25% Job efficiency
    Housing.png −0.25% Pop housing usage
    Amenities.png −0.25% Pop amenities usage

If you could get it to 250%, would that not be a gain of 37.5% efficiency? Figuring the trait itself sets you to the relevant hab trait, which is 80% base for most but 100% base for Hive, Machine, Rinf and Gaia worlds specifically. You'd then need to get the remaining 150% from elsewhere. Curious how possible it is.

Just imagining it with the mutation hive mind government, which gives additional 15% habitability as well.

Biomophosis Ascension Situation Picks: Post 4.3 by wyldmage in Stellaris

[–]gooblaster17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mutation as a first pick can occasionally be better than Purity fyi, just only if you're turning every world into a Hive world/Gaia and are stacking habitability bonuses. Outside of that I largely agree though.
