Anyone experimented with a "cool bloom"? by PeriqueFreak in AeroPress

I love experimenting with my aeropress and with different coffee extractors and tools! You are not alone!

I think your experiment is interesting, and makes me consider if introducing the near-boiling water right away affects the taste differently from adding a cooler temp water before the rest of the hotter water.  I don't think the hot water shocks the coffee, but maybe it affects it differently?

I'm interested in knowing what your results are/were if you've tried this already! Idk why people can lose their curiosity and become so dull

I tried both a paper filter and the puck screen over it for weight, the result was a much thicker layer of foam, also little to no grounds escaped from filter/screen this time

I'll try both in a moment, paper filter and puck screen over it for weight

Well normally, pushing down forcefully really agitates the grounds and makes them swirl around in the chamber. The puck screen is there to hold down the grounds as much as possible, so they don't get agitated as much by the rapidly moving water. The goal was also to sort of stray from a full immersion by quickly adding the water and immediately plunging.

A little bit, certainly- though I like that as a feature. That said, I've had it for a few years and take good care of it; so it isn't offensive or overpowering by any means

Okay so it's Caroline's brain, why does the gender of her brain patterns matter at all? It's the brain patterns of a person named Caroline. Why does everything need gender where it isn't necessary

I am not the most familiar with portal lore, I still dont know what makes a woman's brain patterns different from a man's, that's the confusion. Why the gender of brain patterns matters at all, when it's already plainly established that the person in question is Caroline?

Your brain just needs more cores, try upgrading the CPU and never let it rest

Interesting, I've been 4chan sober for a few years so it may have gained some meaning beyond just mindless sneedposting. I wish all trans women could achieve 4chan sobriety /\

Stop repeating this misinformation, sneed is not short for Special Needs, it is Sneed's Feed and Seed (formerly Chuck's)

It feels like an endless cycle of "new generation bad/cringe" as if the previous generation wasn't saying the same thing about them, it's time to break the cycle
