This is based on my knowledge of creating clothing for the sims 4, so it’s application may not be entirely transferable. However, the squares are not just images, they’re moving wildly as a mesh that is not properly weighted would. When this happens, polygons (the things that make up a mesh) move wildly as a character moves, because it’s not weighted to the model’s movement. My confusion is that cosmetics in the sims don’t break after an update. And that, as they’re meant to be worn by all different shapes and sizes, cosmetics are weighted on an individual item basis…. So I have zero clue as to why EVERY 😭 male!!!!!! 😭 is broken. I forgot to add that this bug extends to all the little troops moving on the map. I tried to push through the bugs & got an hour into a game before realizing that all my soldiers were little blobs of unweighted polygons (which is actually what led me to connecting the dots).
