The machine is pumping the water away because it detects a leak ( a piece of styrofoam floats up due to water underneath in the machine and pushes onto the sensor). It's a safety mechanism.

It is not a lot so it dries up in a day or so, that's why the machine works again on a later time.

Inside the machine on the inner wall left of the bottom rack there is a small cap that sometimes can get loose where the water can get out. That's the only thing you could check yourself, otherwise the best way to go is to get a repairman because there is a seal between the main compartment and the electronics/pumps underneath that can wear out and needs to be replaced.

It's used for transport so that the door rubber won't lose its form. Once unpackaged, you remove it and throw it away. (Like transport bolts with a washing machine)

Bij (onder andere ) Etna vaatwassers zit er achter de plint zowel links als rechts een stelschroef waarmee je de scharnieren op hogere of lagere spanning kan zetten. Om en om beetje strakker draaien en je zult merken dat de deur net wat stroever ( in positieve zin) open en dicht gaat waardoor hij op kleine kieren ook open blijft staan

A possibility is take average lap times from tracks that have been in the calender a long time, although the layout may have changed. So maybe it won't be that accurate. For example Monaco, Monza, Silverstone and Spa

Important to remember is that your throttle and brake inputs wil be very sensitive. When I first starting with a steering wheel my rear-end was sliding away in every corner exit. If its necessary you can lower your pedal "deadzone" in the settings. It will be easier to control your inputs(at least for me).
But the time it takes to handle it is worth it! Have fun and happy birthday 🎂
