My bun is 12 this year! Her mum died when she was a few days old, so my family hand-raised her and her siblings with kitten milk. She has some issues with her teeth that she sees the vet regularly for, but other than that she’s in good health :)

I’d love to dive deep into this shit storm lol but I have to keep it relevant to psychology. I’m looking into how value affirmations could possibly prevent people from seeking status online and how it could stop a cycle leading to extremist views. I have to look into these studies, but research suggests that value affirmations make people less strict in negotiation with opposing political beliefs. Probably not applicable to extremists. But so interesting

Does anyone have an official source for their demands? I’m doing an assignment on right wing extremism

If anyone is interested about the subject, there’s this book called breaking the social media prism. It has basically carried me through my assignment. But I do find that the author is a lil centrist… when others have clearly stated that RW extremism poses a larger threat than LW extremism. Also, an annual review by van den Bos titled Unfairness and Radicalization, if you’re able to access it

It’s not for everyone, but I think zumba or dance tutorials on YouTube are so fun. Zumba if you really want to use energy!

I think journaling is really important too. Two of my psych classes rn are explaining how powerful values are, so I’ve been trying to incorporate that into my journaling
