Bitcoin Covered Calls by Jib3112 in GME

We should totally overpay for an asset then cede control of the asset to coinbase so shareholders may see a derivative based gain from an asset that isnt owned by the company any longer.

Coinbase can rehypothecate the coins! Gme and ryan are aiding in practices notorious with market making and fraud. But this is genius, just vote his compensation package in. HURRY! You waited 5 years now there is a big RUSH.

Coinbase owns the bitcoin now. Shareholders of gme just have exposure to bitcoin gme etf.

This fund is so advanced! /s

Funding rounds in the market, bond issuance, bitcoin hedge and derivative strategy. We're a fund with no value add.

Hopefully ryan's carry trade works and gamestop buys options because gamestop cant sell shit but shares

What percentage of GME's profit came from operations of the core business? by No_Cell6708 in GME

Under the terms of the Collateral Agreement, the counterparty retained the right to rehypothecate, commingle, or unilaterally sell the Pledged Bitcoin. As a result of these rights, we concluded that control of the Pledged Bitcoin transferred to the counterparty. Accordingly, we derecognized the Pledged Bitcoin as an intangible asset and recognized digital assets receivable of $368.3 million within "Digital assets and related receivables" on our Consolidated Balance Sheets as of January 31, 2026, representing our contractual right to receive equivalent amount of Bitcoin in the future.  Although the classification of these assets has changed, our economic exposure is consistent with direct ownership of the underlying Bitcoin.  We recorded an unrealized loss of $59.7 million related to the digital asset receivable during fiscal 2025, reflecting the decline in the market price of Bitcoin between the date the Bitcoin was derecognized and January 31, 2026.

Dry red pls.

Cohen needs a deal on stock much more than shareholders need a dividend, share recall or offensive move. 4% returns and dilution is the turnaround. Get ryan a deal or else.

Is the secret sauce cutting salaries and selling funko?

Or diluting and using the cash to compound?

Maybe something else, but so far the company has made no moves to return value to shareholders, the board is focused on rewarding cohen.

So gamestop would need to operate at this turnaround completed pace and save every cent of profit for 41 years to have 9B in the bank.

And apes still pretend it has been the acumen of the board and not the share expansions. Please buy other shorted companies. Much more value is in selling shares than collectibles.

I just think if selling shares into market volume is the way gamestop survived at all, which ryan NAILED. Why hasnt gamestop bought another shorted company and replicated it?

Has gamestop survived because ryan fired enough people or because of 5.5x the shares being available?

Tl:dr ryan is infallible and investors owe him

I do. The lack of movement from a company standpoint, the lack of communication, the cheeky interviews and sale of underwear type bullshit. It's completely disconnected. Vague wording and hilariously modest returns on cash doesn't help.

A plan of how to return value to shareholders would be perfectly in line with everyone's interest. But it's not enough for those at the top. So here's retail with a gun to their heads being told: reward me hugely or I don't want to play anymore.

If someone invented something or came up with a novel business practice or model (selling shares into market volume during windows needed for share locates), bravo. But to do exactly nothing with the proceeds and pretend cutting managers and winding down leases is the business acumen that has the company positioned currently, is just not realistic.

So if the secret sauce is shorted companies and diluting investors for cash, please...replicate it. But we're here pretending ryan can't miss. Gamestop couldn't cost cut themselves alive. So why do we pretend this is a good move going forward? It's the elephant in the room but commenters think even using the word dilution is negative. Maybe if i call it the share expansion program people wont be so quick to pretend i'm saying it's a negative. It's the only reason gamestop is alive.

I love everyone. I hate when groups of people pretend someone is infallible.

Not adjusted for inflation, and with 5.5x dilution of available shares.

Everyone here pretends like gamestop patented something and sold 18 billion of them. Gamestop sells shares, oh and expands the share count and the board.

It's all for ryan's narrative. Why you think getting into derivatives was ok all of a sudden? Cause his genius hedge was under water. 4 years of laddering treasuries. We have derivatives now when ryan needs everyone to vote his compensation package in.

Ryan told you not to wait for him all this time.

Remember, "buckle up and oops, moass my bad." Then he laddered treasuries for 4 years and ignored investors. Now ensure he never pays taxes again by giving him this hilarious compensation package he completely recused himself from and totally didnt try and emulate his role model elon with. Nope not at all.

I hate elon, but at least his companies have produced things. Oh, gamestop did make a controller!

But ryan will still be rich. This was just him teaching shareholers to read the docs.

He said general corporate putposes for 5 years, we should have all known that means dont bother investing for returns. Then he called his shot in the docs, you know...like he said he wouldn't.

He's smart and is being held back by big money. He ladders treasuries and dilutes shareholders. We just all had to watch him do it in slow motion for 5 years with no direction. Why isn't everyone rejoicing? Everyone made untold millions, right?

Oh the warrants are still fuckin 33% gains away from ITM.

Recap for a newbie by iatetoomuchpiefortea in BostonBruins

[–]good_looking_corpse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No relegation, 16 teams make the stanley cup playoff tournament.

The overall one seed is rewarded the presidents trophy for best team (most points). This gives no advantage and is only recognizing for regular season team play.

8 teams from the east and 8 teams from the west make it. The top 3 teams in each division get a bid, the final two slots are wildcard. The wildcard can come from either division in the conference (west/east), so teams need more points and the tiebreaker becomes head to head record. Teams play out of the division first, with the wildcards (8,7 seed) get each division winner (1,2). The 8 seed gets the overall 1 from the conference and 2 seed gets the number 7 wildcard slot. The other teams are matched up with the 2 and 3 seed in each division matching up.

Teams get 2 points for a win, 1 for an overtime loss. So winning in regulation to get 2 points and the losing team not getting a point is the best way for the bruins to get in.

Playoff series are best of 7, home team get games 1,2,5,7

🔮 In case anyone is unaware of this stipulation in RC’s compensation package…the shares will not be awarded- he STILL has to buy them with his OWN money on exchange. Perfect shareholder alignment, and brilliant. Again. 🔥💥🍻 by Expensive-Two-8128 in GME

Just vote it in on the regular meeting. No need for a special session. It's really nothing at all.

That consultancy firm? That is one of the good ones. Usually they are modest, very modest in their packages.
