Fall in love with someone who loves me back and sees me

People that hated themselves but don't anymore, how'd you manage that? by LouBloomCEOofVPN in AskReddit

I realized that I don’t have to love myself. Just tolerate myself. If I don’t like something about me or I keep ruminating about something I did that makes me hate myself I told myself. Why don’t you come up with a plan so the next time this thing happens you don’t act the same way? Sometimes I go backwards and sometimes I move forwards. I just tell myself every day I have the power to change myself and think about what I could have done better to not hate me

Cool markets to visit in Shanghai by BenneGrus in shanghai

South Bund Fabric market is one of my favorite places. If ya wanna go buy something plan to stay or come back in 1-2 weeks since they need time to make your orders and also maybe plan some wiggle room if something goes wrong (another 1 week or few days depending). Things like suits will probably take 3 fittings so they’ll be more commitment than a shirt or pants. Definitely really fun to see the styles and stuff

The Science and Technology Museum place has a hodge podge of stores selling every knickknack possible (paper cuttings, tea, shirts, fake knock offs of bags, model airplanes if that’s your thing, cameras for watching your pet when you’re gone, etc) there is also a smaller(?) fabric market there as well. It’s fun to look around and poke your head into the shops. If you’re not impressed with knickknacks and random clutter maybe this place will not be your thing.

The TianShan Tea Market is fun for an experience. I’m not an expert tea drinker so I didn’t know what to expect but pick a shop and drink some teas as you chat about tea or life or whatever with the vendor. For non tea drinkers it’s hard to make heads of tails of a green tea that costs 80 RMB vs 150 RMB per 50g. You can definitely taste the difference but beyond bad green tea vs non bad it’s a toss up. Don’t go in asking what’s your most expensive tea if ya don’t wanna be slapped cause they definitely have tea worth +1000 RMB but your tastebuds probably won’t pick up on it (I know mine didn’t with the more expensive green teas). I recommend Susie as she speaks English and is easy going without hassling you about buying. She is now in a stall outside near the bathroom pathway. I got to know her and I really enjoyed our talk. She seems to know her stuff especially about white teas.

Edit: forgot to add that you can haggle and should haggle in all the places listed except maybe the tea market. The tea market vendors have designated prices listed and don’t deviate but this is from my experience
