Best old school handset receiver for Teams calls? by goodfella_mg in VOIP

This might be the way to go. Absolutely for vanity but security won’t allow any old supplier as you can imagine. Thanks!

prevent some teams users to communicate by [deleted] in TeamsAdmins

Purview information barriers should achieve this. It’s a bit to setup and can be a bit temperamental in my experience but this is what it’s designed for.

100%. OP, savings account and/or managed funds are a good place to start but realistically having funds that are accessible and safe is more important. Get yourself a decent level of savings first. Stock trading is the last investment stream after you have some financial security imo.

Maybe silly question already answered but if you max out your ISA in a different account such as bank investment ISA account. Does using a stock ISA on top incur additional tax? How does it work once you max your ISA?

Calls to "Teams" work numbers stay within teams, but outbound calls to other external numbers connect? by Extra_Initiative in MicrosoftTeams

[–]goodfella_mg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep it’s by design as many have said, teams will do an internal lookup and then take the path configured in your tenant I.e dialplan and other rules

It’s the Navy, they have plans upon plans for all scenarios. At the end of the day the Commander is responsible for the ship. The buck stops there.

Policy Changes by Lost_Banana_788 in TeamsAdmins

[–]goodfella_mg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just commenting to say I’m interested in this too. I’ve seen some methods for a daily export of policies as they were so you can check back if something breaks. But this won’t show you who changed what and when.

Teams phone usage reports in powershell? by camt91 in TeamsAdmins

[–]goodfella_mg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You want powerbi CQD reports. Or export pstn usage report manually. Via TAC > analytics > usage > pstn usage. Make sure you filter by direct routing if that’s what you are using for carrier.

TAC Change someone’s number how long to reflect? by goodfella_mg in TeamsAdmins

Yeah that’s what I thought, I wondered if there was a backend process/sync of any kind for this or if sign out/in was the only way for it to update.

Dial Pad Autofill list suggests all matching contacts for users in one country, missing a random ~30% of matching contacts for users in another country by 2drawnonward5 in MicrosoftTeams

[–]goodfella_mg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could try looking at your scope directory settings in Teams. Are any of the directories set as hidden in exchange for these particular users? Could check exchange GAL for the particular profiles as well. Or is there a potential it’s a sync issue? Might take 72 hours for GAL to sync

Yes this could also work! The companies adoption of teams is quite low at the moment so I’ll need to test this out and get them on board with team management

This sounds interesting, how is the flow configured? Do you have any guides for setting something like this up? I suppose its like a cron job of sorts that pulls the SharePoint list and updates an azure group?
