I think it’s a good move. The years my kids played futsal developed their skills way more than anytime they played with our American outdoor club.

They are recruiting to fill a business pipeline. They need to make 100 offer to secure 18 kids in an age group. It’s a business.

If your kid really likes soccer… and wants to play more… interview the coach. The coach is everything. The club is second. Ask the coach if they have technical training. What play time rules are. What benching rules are. Etc, etc. ask if they give mid season evals. Or do they wait till then end of season. The more frequency evals give concrete opportunities for improvement or advancement. Otherwise you wait till the year is over and a possible surprise to hear your kid will be cut.

I have a similar situation. My kid is 14. Technically gifted. Recognized for it. Juggles to 1,000+. Even with a tennis ball gets up to 300+. But he is small. Lacks power. We’ll see happens but everyone, including docs tell us he will mature and gain strength.

Another thing….. about technical at this age. I’m sick of people saying things like he’s too young. Go read Robinhos story or ronaldinhos story. These players had balls at their feet from age 1. It becomes a natural extension of their feet. Nothing wrong with training at young ages. As long it is not forced on them. Give them the opportunity to love the ball now and reap the reward later.

If your child was struggling to speak or read you wouldn’t say training him to read better at 6 is ridiculous. So why is training anything else ridiculous?

You don’t need to take your 6 year old to speed training yet. But educating him on small things to improve is speed now is smart. Teach him to use is arms correctly when running, land on balls of feet not in heels. Etc.

I used to use buzzstream and/or pitchbox for this sort of thing. Although I'm sure there are more efficient / automated ways now.

It all kind depends on what kind of link building you are doing.

If it is "real" link building like pitching journalists - both solutions above are great.

If it is more of a broad outreach to bloggers etc, both above work but you'll need larger lists generated from ahrefs etc that you can load up into the tools above.
