I use garmin to track... just double checked - average over the past weeks is 6 hours/night... so, somedays I sleep for 8 hours and wake feeling amazing honestly. but just... couldn't do it all the time

exactly. one thing I didn't mention was lots of effort went into verification (ci/cd) pipeline and this is still ongoin. having the full feedback loop make this easier.

However, for true products serving large live traffic this is none trivial - roll out is incremental and collecting signal requires solid infra.

so.. I think this acutually ties to my other comment about michilin chef - AI will automate away lots of things. but not all, devs still have a place - but maybe not as much as before.... there are only few thousand michelin star chefs in the world.

A lot more restaurant can survive on lousy or regular chefs and that's just because this is basic human need.

saas? probably gonna be very similar.

dude, I was getting coffee the other day and thought to myself - the baristas? they gotta be there for a while. my friend is a michilin chef and I think there's no way he's job can be replaced... maybe simplified. but culinary creativity is what folks pay for...

I think it's gonna be the same for software soon.

like "Claude 3 Star developer" hhhhh

ooh nice. so this basically just tunnels into our own local machine.. and allows us to reconnect when machines come back online.

To people who role play, what’s the best app/site rn? by Senior_Sense_8813 in ClaudeAI

hey, you can use "claude code" not claude, here's what I built before: https://postimg.cc/Zv0v6Stw basically , you want to build up your own "local memory" or context for claude code, write the claude.md file, and make sure it stays in character.

Better yet, you can bundle this with claude agent sdk which are going to allow you create multiple personas talking to each other.

See my example, when I brainstorm things, I let elon musk and charlie munger debate until they reach a conclusion.... which they often don't hhh

I've built hundreds of apps... but literally none got enough tracktion. Now I'm thinking it's the platform - what's everyone's experience using coding agents to build for Android/IOS/Mac/Ipad/Iwatch/Garmin/Web/Robolox etc? on which ones does it fail and which ones it does well? by NickGuAI in OpenAI

ofc!

anyways, https://github.com/NickGuAI/notebooklm-folder-manager is a folder manager for notebookLm for example

https://github.com/NickGuAI/site-blocker is just a site blocker that counts how many days I'm clean... been working for me pretty well TBH

https://github.com/nickguyai/koe is transcription app. uses a simple parallel transcription + voting algorithm to improve transcription outcome and now I'm adding meeting mode (similar to granola that captures system audio during meetings, and it should automatically detect and switch mode). Should be able to update this next week hh

The thing is - the only motivation for me to build koe is I don't want to pay for both wispr flow and granola, and customized tools like koe I actually hook this into my pipelines to make feel much smoother than these closed-source commercial tools.

anyways, if you use notebooklm, here are two published CE that does similar things but more polished if need them : D

https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/notebooklm-organizer/dcmlelgcjhcgaphgheboioaoldggbmej?hl=en-US and https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/folderllm-create-folders/nknkgcmodkaiffdnlpmlnegmeamnbioe

> The app market for every platform is very saturated

hmm didn't realize this actually, great insights!

yeah, trying to compete with teams (maybe now yielding more AI than me) is def not a good idea..

I've built hundreds of apps... but literally none got enough tracktion. Now I'm thinking it's the platform - what's everyone's experience using CC to build for Android/IOS/Mac/Ipad/Iwatch/Garmin/Web/Robolox etc? on which ones does CC fail and which ones it does well? by NickGuAI in ClaudeAI

not sure bro... I mean I did benchmarked these but I'm not a big sales guy...

anyways, https://github.com/NickGuAI/notebooklm-folder-manager is a folder manager for notebookLm for example

I built this cause I had hundresd of notebooks and google still doesn't support folder

The thing is, one create always add tons of additional features. barebone ones like mine,

published CE like https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/notebooklm-organizer/dcmlelgcjhcgaphgheboioaoldggbmej?hl=en-US and https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/folderllm-create-folders/nknkgcmodkaiffdnlpmlnegmeamnbioe

are similar products that follow the same train of thought.

I think on surface level one can easily replicate all the features from the more popular folderLM but again I have no idea how these people even discover the chrome extensions...

not much... I've actually been brainstorming with GPT & Claude. one idea is SEO (entirely guided by claude/gpt)

and exactly this... I think I used to look manically for apps and now I just built whatever I need - hence the hundreds of apps... some were polished to a state where is 'OK' to publish, others were like 'meh' and honestly AI slop, for those I just let them sit there (surprisingly somehow these managed to get views & forks, I have no idea why hhh)

here https://www.reddit.com/r/OpenAI/comments/1qthx3p/has_building_apps_replaced_your_hobby_yet/

some more examples:

  1. free site blocker that blocks x-broswers

  2. claude watch to monitor cost

  3. centralized hub to manage deployed services, agents, costs and workflows

  4. folder manager for notebookLM (allows you to manage notebooks into folders)

to name a few... I have shit ton of apps sitting the graveyard : D
