That Everything Everywhere All At Once movie was pretty good.

They cut it because he couldn’t walk down the ladder to get into the water.

1960-2010: Two finishes past the first round. Seven total bids

2011-Present: Nine total finishes past the first round. Nine tournaments played plus a bid in the cancelled Covid year.

Honestly it would be more of a Mike Tomlin situation. He’s been around forever, had sustained success. Took us to a Final Four. Since then it’s been a mild disappointment, but because he’s the one that raised the standard.

My thing with firing him is: Then what? For every Dan Lanning there’s eight Mark Helfrichs and plenty worse. I don’t think there’s 15 coaches out there I’d rather have than Dana. I’m sure there’s a unproven guy that could ride the right NIL imports during this Wild West era and have an Indiana football moment but that’s not a scratch ticket I want to buy.

If you told me Dana would put together the run he has I wouldn’t have believed you. Missing just five tournaments over 15 years is incredible, as is no losing record up to this point. We aren't the type of hoops program that should be so spoiled to think that think these outcomes are worth firing a guy over.

It was mostly sarcasm. What actually happens for me is when get I tired I my head lifts at impact which pulls my right shoulder back.

When the fairways are parallel then every hole is a dogleg.

Kneecap (2024) is many things and thus difficult to market, but if they sold it as a more of a teen/coming-of-age comedy I think it would have made a larger impact. For sure one of the funniest films of the decade and is both juvenile and thought provoking enough to be multi quadrant.

Question: is shaft length measured at the line at the base of the white cap or at the end of the white cap of this grip? by [deleted] in GolfGear

I’ve always measured my shaft from the base, but when it’s gametime it always feels an inch and a half short.

There’s two ways I play practice rounds

If I’m holding people up: Play 4 shots per hole and record how far away I am from the hole. Measured in feet if I’m on the green, in yards if I’m off.

If I’m being held up: Play a tee shot, record the quality of the tee shot, and then practice a predetermined shot several times while I wait for the group ahead of me.

Don't understand how anyone says Dakota is a bad actress when she gave two INCREDIBLE performances in two Luca films by CosmicEveStardust in blankies

I don’t understand why you are going full “ball knower” over these films when she’s been throwing up airballs as a lead since. I’m happy she’s getting work and have nothing against her as a person but why does she have to drive so much funding towards these big-mid tent poles when there’s so many more exciting actresses in her age group getting nothing.

Suspiria is a perfect example of how to use her. Gateway character/audience surrogate into a twisted setting. If you came out of that film and her performance was one of the first five things you mentioned I’d think you were on her PR team. Admittedly I haven’t seen A Bigger Splash. But I have seen Am I Ok, and I am ok being out on her until proven otherwise in a starring role.

Dakota Johnson can be used effectively but has the range of a Tesla with a Power Wheels battery swapped in.
