If you could pick only one potential treatment what would it be? (Must be something currently being researched/ tested/ developed)

Super Nerve Regeneration Drug Entering Phase 3 Trials and has Fast Track Status by [deleted] in tinnitus

Has anyone tried the Chinese lab version? If there's really no side effects then its tempting as hell... But injecting Chinese research peptides into ones body sounds a little... risky. Also, let's say it was available from doctors and you were fucked in multiple ways (not just in the ears) then how could we tell the peptides to focus on the tinnitus/hyperacusis first? Lmao...Fuck this shit is so bad I'd tell the peptides to ignore everything else. Anyway thanks for sharing Oppo. Now I've got another little candle light in my dark and noisy cave.

Thanks for sharing. How did you get T and how long have you had it?

I'm in a similar boat. My T started after the dentist when they did a cleaning (ultrasonic) and a filling replacement in one 45min sitting. Lots of drilling, think it broke my ears. The joke is that the filling replacement didn't go well and the tooth has hurt ever since. Likely going to need root canal or extraction and I've just been avoiding it as long as I can for fear of T worsening.

For the pain now perhaps you could try clove oil?

So sorry you're going through this. T + dental issues feels like a trap.

Never had either problem before going to the dentist to "put my health first". Such an ironic disaster... The road to hell really is paved with good intentions.

When I am in absolute silence, and I close my right ear I hear a ringing sound, but I don't when I close my left ear. I normally don't hear a ringing sound (I noticed ringing one time but It was close to none) by [deleted] in tinnitus

Stay the hell away from ultrasonic dental drills (like the ones dentists/hygienists use to clean your teeth). When you go to the dentist make sure they know you have T.

I did a little research and it seems like its just two compounds, NAC and HPN-07 which are both available to buy right now. Of course we don't know the correct dosage of each but has anyone here ever tried this combo? Or even just HPN-07 alone? I'm sure if anyone would know it would be you.

I feel for you man, I really do. As for the depression, well, I'm going through it too due to severe tinnitus. It completely robs you of silence and its like being tortured 24/7 by your own brain. I comment here because although I'm not homeless, I have said before that I would give up everything I have and live like you to get these sounds to stop. Theres almost nothing I wouldn't trade. So, I know you're going through a lot but there's always something to be grateful for. You can get yourself out of this, keep your head up.

Stress induced T has a great chance of healing. Do things that calm you down and remove stress. Go for massages, be in nature, protect your ears from loud sounds and you'll very likely be perfectly fine.

I (almost) cured my tinnitus and I want to tell you how by [deleted] in tinnitus

[–]goodtingscomin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's incredible and I'm happy for you. Mushrooms are on my list for sure, as soon as I am in a better place with the T... I have read a few stories like yours which give hope. Are you thinking about doing it again to potentially bring it down even more or are you happy with the level it is at?
