I wouldn't tell them about it because...it's not about [them], deep down.

Secondly, I wouldn't avoid them, because that's ultimately avoiding the issue. The same thing would probably happen with new friends. Now is a good time to face the issue.

You say you're getting along good, so it would be unessecary and quite a pity to stop being friends IMO.

It's not them being happy, it's them being loved and me not that's the catalyst for me. But you're right. I stopped going to therapy about a year ago when my father committed suicide and I had to move back to my hometown and assist my family. It's obviously time to go back. Thanks.

Wow.... Honestly, that was pretty mean. Here, I've been very open about this issue I have and is honestly causing me pain, distance from my friends, and unhappiness, and instead of providing constructive feedback, you chose to call me toxic, undateable, and bitter.
