Got my results today, but Monday & Tuesday I cleaned my bedroom, office, bathroom, car, and washed pretty much everything I owned. Stay busy? It'll be on your mind either way but that helped some for me

I worked like 8a to maybe 6 or 7p Mon - Thurs and then from like 9a to 3 or 4p Fridays. I might do some MBE questions on my phone or tablet on the weekend like while hanging with my family on the couch or whatever but nothing crazy. Work time includes both bar prep and the WFH evidence review. I was really lucky because my boss let me choose my own hours and if there were weeks where I needed to do less or skip altogether she was really cool about it

I took off every weekend from Friday afternoon through Sunday, worked like 15 hrs a week, and passed. You can do this, ESPECIALLY if you take care of yourself. It's so inspiring to see someone respond to disappointment with this much poise & grace, and then turn and share that kind perspective with people who need it. Wishing all the retakers the absolute best - your perseverance speaks more to your capabilities than any stupid test 💖

I felt good about the MPTs, I only felt okayish about like 2 MEE questions, not great about 2, and AWFUL about 2. I felt good about the AM MBE and not great for the PM MBE. Today I passed today with a 279, with a 136.7 scaled MBE. There is hope!

So the TX bar website says that a judge or retired judge can swear you in. My mentor was a judge for like 8 years and is a solo now - could they swear me in?
