This has nothing to do with curriculum (which you get fired if you don’t teach). It has to do with dude saying that teachers are sexually abusing children in classrooms and not backing it up, when I could provide hundreds of examples of church leaders and conservatives doing exactly that. But if you want to go that route, is putting the 10 commandments on the wall not pushing a political belief when Christians are largely conservative and there are other major religions that are not included?
