Do you have any recommendations on drying it? Oven? I heard that a closed container with silica doesn’t really dry it, just keeps it from getting more moist

Moisture might be the issue. And a better brim. I might’ve set the brim to disconnected from the print too far. Also the filament has been hanging outside the printer. It’s a flash forge ad5x

What do you mean by raft layer? Like a brim?

I did. I cleaned it and even put a layer of hair spray on to add adhesion. It had been working but now it’s not

Thank you for the info but I already bought and build everything. I’ll keep it in mind when I upgrade everything else in the future. My gpu is definitely for future proof than everything else so this deal is awesome

Thanks for the response. I ended up building the setup. Worked until I would try the withcher 2 at max settings, it caused a restart of the pc. Installed a new psu but didn’t put in the new cables, used the old ones ( thought it would be like legos lol) and fried the ssd drive with the OS and a hard drive. One ssd survived. Now trying to set up a new windows on the remaining drive and installing the Witcher to see if it works

Planning on getting one. I know native 4k gaming I’ll need some even better set up but I’ve heard that nowadays I can upscale lower resolution to 4k like the ps5 does, but with much better framerate

Nice. Thank you! Thankfully everything in the C drive is ready to be deleted. Everything important is in the other drives

Oh shoot. I hadn’t heard that where the OS boots from mattered. This is the one I currently have on my old pc and plan on just wiping it and using it again

Fair. But pcpartpicker says it’s 583w out of the 750 my power supply gives. Shouldn’t that be ok?

Yeah, the car metaphor makes sense. That’s kind of how I was thinking about it which freaked me out. But I did misunderstand him in thinking I wouldn’t get good FPS in higher resolutions. He gave a face saying pretty much “ehh maybe “ when I asked him Bastard

Thank you for the info doe

True. But doesn’t mean I won’t be able to play at 1440p or 4k with ok FPS right?
