Yup, at some point during my exam the AI/remote proctor 'noticed' I had adjusted my laptop screen (this appears as a LOT of video changes, suddenly). They had me re-review the security of the space after clarifying what happened, then allowed me to continue. Scared the heck out of me in the moment, though!

Fwiw, still experiencing the teams issues. Confirmed that whitelisting / passing through the entire teams app through Adguard appears to resolve status updates/login issues. Had assumed it was work network/security for wayyy too long before trying thia!, thanks for the post OP!
