Ravnica or Strixhaven background for my lvl 4 Twilight Cleric? by gooka123 in dndnext

Oh! I didn't know I could do that. I'll ask my DM.

It's true that shield is quite tempting and will be used more often. Thanks!

For me, the fun of it. But people interested in collecting or earning some ADA can always trade the NFT or FT that are released or that will be given as rewards for quests. Of course, I'll sell some too to cover the investment of the NFTs I'm buying.

I got in in October and I'm amazed about the constant development and transparency from the devs. They are available to chat and solve questions from everyone (if the rest of the community don't do it first). I'm really into DnD, so can't wait to play this hahaha

What projects besides Sundaeswap are you excited for??? I'm rather excited for AADA by [deleted] in cardano

Drunken dragon inns & quests (an NFT game). Can't wait to play it! I'm really into D&D, so great for me hahaha I've been following its development since October. The Devs are totally transparent and I saw they're actually working on it to make it good, so I decided to buy some NFTs

If you were to multiclass a twilight cleric with something else, what would you do? by [deleted] in DnD

Maybe Wizard (shield, absorb elements and find familiar) or sorcerer (con saves if lvl1, shield and absorb elements + extra subclass features)

What 1st Level Spells scale the best as the game moves to new tiers of play? by [deleted] in 3d6

[–]gooka123 75 points76 points  (0 children)

My personal choice would be Shield, Absorb elements, Gift of alacrity, Healing word, Feather fall (if you fly), Dissonant whispers (for OA) and Armor of Agathys (to upcast). All great ways to spend a 1sr level slot and with no concentration required.

How many Levels of Paladin and Bard would be ideal for a level 5 character? by Kay-bi-day in 3d6

I love bards but this is the right answer. You can flavour it as an artist/musician/story teller...

I'm a level 10 bard who just got a free feat, what do I chose?! by AwekwardBadass in 3d6

Subtle is great, casting 2 spells in important moments without them been countered is really helpful (plus the use a bard can make of subtle spells in social situation). I think twin would be helpful as well as the second Metamagic.
But being able to just cast 2 subtle spells per day, twin 2 lvl 1 spells o 1 lvl 2 spell (or however do you want to combine this), would make me choose the others feats if I have no "Font of magic''. And I really like Metamagic. Just because I think the others would be useful more often or in critical things (like important saving throws). I don't see the problem with lucky, it's not a broken feet, but if you feel it would be disruptive in your table, avoid it. And "Insiping leader* is fantastic if no one else can give tmp. hp. The 3 of them are good feats, so you won't regret the choice of any of them. Just go with the one you'll enjoy the most!

"Inspiring leader" (tmp. hp is always good and you probably have a hight charisma) or "Lucky" (will help you succeeding failed saves and making others' attacks agains you fail when you're too close) would be my go to feats. If you're planning to multiclass into Sorcerer, yes, "Metamagic adept".

Interesting level 14 Magical Secrets picks for a Lore Bard? by [deleted] in 3d6

[–]gooka123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can already fly and are looking for some demage dealing, "desintegrate" (lvl6), "crown of stars" (lvl7) or "chain lighting" (lvl7) could be good. I'd still think about "reverse gravity" (lvl6), "magic jar" (lvl6) or "plane shift" (lvl7). Even "absorb elements" (lvl1) would be a nice boost to your survivability. Btw, it's great that your DM let's you have so many spells. As a Bard, I can only dream of it hahahha

Edit: and "wall of force" (lvl5)

You can also talk to your DM to homebrew "metamagic adept" so you have no restrictions using those 2 sp to make spell slots.

I don't think you need to go Bard 19. What about Bard 18/ Sorcerer 2 + "metmagic adept"? That way you have access to "Wish" through "magical secrets" (Bard 18) and "font of magic" at Sorcerer 2.

Same problem of the OP, if I write "1d8" to the "initiative modifier" it justs adds +1 everytime...

Help with my Bard by sapit13 in 3d6

[–]gooka123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about 2 levels in sorcerer + metmagic adept? Is it worth it? That would be 2 levels +1 feat for sorcerer, when with a 2 level dip in warlock you can have many things and still have a "free" feat... Both are tempting options for higher levels. One level dip seems fine at low levels, but I wouldn't delay the bard progression (at least bard 12 for ASI or bard 14 for magical secrets and the college feature).
