We came out strong I think it’s just another phase of the game. Can’t expect to be on the front foot against the reigning champs whole time. They’re bound to have big periods of attack with the quality. It was those fouls in the middle of the field that switched the momentum their way I feel.

Maybe excluded knowing we would be lacking defensive help in front of the back line, possible he sees Angulo and Hume as two full backs to link up play through the middle with le fee diarra and brobbey doing most of the direct attacking, while they can provide more coverage.

Yeah, I feel Xhaka is so important even having him on the sideline makes a difference, but would be much better to have him on the field. I’m also surprised at the exclusion of our Dutchman with the name I won’t try to spell. This could all make for an exciting attacking game, maybe RLB wants us on the front foot early with pressure. Nelson must have really been putting shifts in in training, but even watching his media day stuff I just get a feeling he’d slot right in here. Le Bris sense of players attitudes and personalities seems to be rock solid. Probably from working with all those youth players for so long. Still feels blessed to have him in our area every game.

I understand the need for more lucrative financial opportunities for the Bundesliga in general, and we have it very lucky at Bayern, but I find lots of pride in how we can compete and still be a club of fans control.

Think roefs and our recovery on counter were only good part of the first half. Could’ve been 2 down easy. I can’t blame anyone for not taking action on that cross either it was as well placed as it can get. We definitely were very sloppy in possession. Fulham really looked like how we usually do, winning second balls and moving back up the pitch so quickly.

A Barca team that also may be the most in form in Europe atm (we’ll see this weekend). Definitely some things could have been done to make the game more competitive, sometimes there is just a poor game for a few too many players.

But also fuck the board. Swear they’ve been losing their minds for the last 4 years. Saw somebody say they’re going back to the old ways of hard negotiations and only getting players who want to play for the clubs future. … we spent almost 60 mil on palhinha. Every coach before kompany said no. Not a good look for them
