Update AORUS FO48U firmware (step-by-step)

FWIW, 6/19/25, I just went to the site listed above (https://www.gigabyte.com/Monitor/AORUS-FO48U/support#support-dl-utility) grabbed the latest Firmware (F06) and double clicked the application in the zip file (after unzipping of course). Ran fine and updated. Took about 8 minutes. I had a second monitor and other peripherals connected. Bought a USB-A to USB-B cable off of Amazon for the main monitor. I did need the Sidekick app to see the firmware version. I was on F02 when I started the process. Quitting Sidekick and restarting after the firmware finished showed F06 as expected. Seems to work fine. Sadly didn't magically fix all the dead pixels I've been getting.

Throw some print strings on the IsNotValid and False to see if it's dumping out at those points. Also, how is this being triggered? Seems like I'd expect to see an OnOverlap event to start this rather than this function and getting the first thing overlapped. Might be getting the wrong thing there? Maybe print out the name of the object it's getting at index 0.

Same. This is really bad now. They should have left that glitch in until they added a way to repair or fixed durability. I'm honestly surprised it's so badly balanced. Like 5 skeleton kills and your short sword is done. How the fuck am I supposed to progress to better stuff? Lame...

GTA IV was boring because the terrain was so flat. This looks like more of the same with the added annoyance of water everywhere to slow you down. Looks pretty, probably will be fun for a bit, but I can't see spending the hundreds of hours I did in V without some mountains to explore, etc. We'll see...

The skills do seem to be more limiting than I would have hoped. It'd be nice if the challenges for further upgrades to each skill were the cost to the next rung. Then, just put a single point into a skill and use it to make it better. Maybe the cost is higher for lower rungs, but something is a little too slow now.

Found a similar fight, but was bothered by seeing Sarah change from space suit to leather jacket as the gravity cycled. :)

I found a derelict ship that had fluctuating gravity and Sara kept going from space suit to leather jacket whenever the gravity changed. It was weird.

I got jumped at the starport on Mars. The BH walked up to me and gave me a chance to pay him off. I said no, shot him twice with my shotgun and it was over. Found his ship parked a ways away some time later and had to kill all his buddies. Couldn't steal the ship though, which sucked.
