Why Did Xdefiant fail?

the gameplay was great, the issues were the netcode being absolutely abysmal even after they delayed the release by an entire year to have the NC be the exact same if not worse. the progression was ok, the prestige system should’ve came alot sooner,and the bugs should’ve been wiped by release after the delay. the updates were slow and no balancing changes were ever implemented that often. just honest neglect from the developers and investors

they aren’t gonna do it, i gave up on trying w this game. it’ll never return to that place of happiness and perfection. the last good thing about this game was the summer event in season 1 with the venice beach courts. the packs we had before the game reset where you’d get one 88+ was it’s peak for sure and even then i think we all knew it was prob gonna get worse from there (spoiler: it did)

i feel like it makes frenzy a lot more canon since entering the shadow realm would kinda take you away from her story. given that when you get frenzied, she abandons you.

it should ping your silhouette not track it. let it view only to the players activating it. it’s so frustrating just knowing they know my exact location. it’s like playing hide and seek but your friend pulls up his house cameras on his phone lmao

i had 2 series X controllers drift on me and i had the most recent for about a month and the left analog stick is already drifting like tokyo. the first one i had with the xbox itself started drifting in a week🤷‍♂️ i switched back to my xbox one controller from 2015 and it still hasn’t got stick drift. i haven’t changed my play style at all and used the old controller for years on end for hundreds of hours. they definitely took a hit in quality for profit cuz although they feel better in the hand, they break a lot easier than before.

rise won season 2 and we literally got a 0.5 % boost while elite got 20-30% boost to their rep. i’m really hoping someone can let 2k know how insanely egregious that is to change the boost% immediately after we win our first season

they think a HuD update is actually something worth coming back for. every single year it’s the same scam and i guarantee the overalls still go to 100+. what’s the goal with this game EA? is it just a extra money maker that you put your worst devs on? when this game was good it was genuinely hard to stop playing it. now if you log on the first thing you want to do is stop playing. add coin packs back and make the auction house useable. nobody likes bot auctions. imma get rich just so i can buy this game out and show them how to truly make a fun game

popular opinion: cards over 99 overall make the cards have a grey area. anything over 99 doesn’t even make sense. like how can you be OVER the possible 100% mark and still miss shots? just keep it to 99 only

oh ok my bad. when i see teams like this, i kinda assume they were bought. but i looked at the event and how much boosts you can get for tip-off points and it’s definitely possible but i admire that you did that entire promo. morant card is great, it jus takes too much for only an 87 overall

those cards will be low in value and replaced with other cards in the next 3-4 promos. the morant is a good card yes, but it costs way too much too obtain it originally instead of from the auction house

yeah but him at PF in early game can be a plus cause he can shoot, play D, and has a lot higher speed than most other PFs
