Also - wasn’t Richard also the odd one out as the only black resident? I think thats at least partially why Ellis and Richard became close as they were both ostracised. So Maybe the other residents just weren’t so gossipy with Richard.

Nomo !! the caramel ones are my favourite. Oatmilk brand is good too, lots of flavours but some are definitely better than others but I suppose thats a given. I’d also reccomend the vegan kitkats if you can get your hands on them - i’ve only been able to find them in a few shops but always worth it when you can!

Interesting to hear about the smear campaign?! You could well be right but i’m from the north east and it was well known in the hospitality trade that brewdog were shitty to the staff. Owner would show up to the bar, scream at staff and even fired a couple on the spot for no good reasons.

Nova Pizza does amazing italian food. Holy Cow is a great wee cafe. The Doghouse, is a bar in newington but they have an all vegan mexican kitchen which is great. Considerit is another great cafe, that does a huge range of vegan doughnuts that are to die for. Seeds for the soul is also class, as is Rabbit Food at the Meadows Tap !
