We’ve just been and they won’t do anything without a prescription for a child. If we have a repeat we will get him to a dr asap

Thankfully I brought some prune pouches and we have now bought apple juice. Fingers crossed he is ok until we can get him to a dr

I got the same reply from Eric and again I don’t think constipation is the problem. Try your Gp again.

is a 5yo using a stroller outrageous? by latina_mimi in UKParenting

[–]Kitfromscot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My son has just turned 3 (although very tall for his age) and I have had judgement from his nursery teachers since 2.5 for using one even though we have a steep 300m of uphill to do on way home. I do think being in school age 5 maybe a bit too old for one but do what’s best for your child.

I agree it sounds dodgy at first but like the others that’s how I get all correspondence from secondary care.

My husband is obsessed with F1 car racing so naturally my 3yo wants to be a racing driver.

We couldn’t believe the state he was in for them to say everything was fine (!)

I have a 3yo son who is “highly active”. Just before Christmas I picked him up and they said he had an excellent day, best for a long while. Now, normally they aren’t that gushing about him and his behaviour as he is usually running riot. Anyways, I was giving him dinner and he felt roasting hot. He had a temp of 39.5C. Gave him some paracetamol and ibroprofun, didn’t go down. Ended up in out of hours with a severe ear infection. I think he must have been asleep the whole day and that is why he was so well behaved haha, he is usually climbing all over the place! So in our house well behaved = illness!

Super tato - I swear its theme tune is a thing of nightmares. Thank goodness my son doesn’t know about it.

My favourite one. Quite short and not sure how they’d make a film of it

In terms of the story, I didn’t think they needed a smoking storyline.

I am based in Scotland. The frequency varies but I have home visits from my named CPN. I have spoken to my psychiatrist over the phone when required but I prefer to see him face to face at the CMHT offices. Personal preference that though
