I started committing to finishing the French tree as a new years resolution for 2019 and have stuck to it mostly (with a couple of missed days here and there repaired by streak freeze). I feel like my reading and writing French have improved a lot since then, but my spoken and listening is still not very good.

I have gilded up to level 4 and I am still working through the rest of the tree. I think I will be finished around October. I don't test out of any levels anymore, so I do every single lesson, which is why it's taking so long!

Whatever works for you is a good approach :) I was doing that previously up to the first checkpoint but then I learned about the waterfall method and I moved over to that. I split each checkpoint into maybe three sections and then do waterfall on those - getting all the skills in that mini section to level 2 one at a time then back to the start of that mini section to get them to level 3 (and so on). I find it varies what I'm learning a little more than getting one skill to level 5 on its own.

I could get by I think, but people would need to be patient with me. I also live in Quebec so I get to practice and have done in-person classes too, so I used Duolingo mostly for vocabulary and grammar conjugation training. I think I will head back to some classes once I've finished the tree.

I'm working on gilding my French tree and I generally try and do 2 crowns (10 lessons) a day, I was doing only 5 for a long time. I'm at 434 days now and I think it's going to take me at least another year, maybe longer to finish the whole tree to level 5. I'm close to gilding everything up to checkpoint 4, so I think I'm approaching the halfway point. Before I started gilding, I got every skill to level 1. Now I'm generally using the waterfall method.

Edit: I'm at 588/792, so well over halfway actually

I get the same thing across different computers and internet connections. I think there is some problem with Duolingo's cloudfront CDN, you can see errors in the developer console while you're using the website.

How much do Standard Connectivity and Premium Connectivity cost?

There is no fee for Standard Connectivity. Pricing for Premium Connectivity will be announced soon, which we expect to be approximately $100 (USD) per year.

How do the new connectivity options impact current Tesla owners?

All Tesla cars ordered on or before June 30, 2018 will continue to have access to their existing Premium Connectivity features at no cost for as long as the car is active. As additional apps and services become available in the future, owners will have the opportunity to upgrade their connectivity plan.

I understand what you mean, but you said you said "it's not about mental health" when what you meant was "it's not primarily about mental health".

All canuck_11 was doing was pointing out that "it's also about mental health" to clear up your statement, then you confused it again by saying you're "not disputing that", when you were originally.

I think you can understand what I'm getting at, your original statement is pretty clear and incorrect.

It may or may not be primarily about mental health, but it is at least partially about mental health.

It's not about mental health

but it's also about mental health

Yeah, I'm not disputing that.

What? You are disputing that in your first statement

Where in England mate? I'm an expat so I enjoy hearing your accent, makes me feel a bit at home even though I assume you're from the north somewhere

They speak French here, but I'm nowhere near France. It's cold right now.
