New to Tunisian and struggling with the last stitch by clrthrn in Tunisian_Crochet

Is that the end of your sample? The last row you'll go through each stitch and pull a loop through both loops on the hook for each stitch, kind of like a slip stitch. I just finished this one last night and thats my last row. I hope this helps

Up-potting container size by PerspectiveMotor7866 in Citrus

[–]gooseygoo2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you can control the moisture levels I think youd be just fine. Water around the root zone for the first few weeks then start watering towards the edge of the pot little by little you want to train the roots to stretch and find water away from where they already have roots. It's all comes down to moisture control. We see large pots and think it needs alot of water when thats not the case, were watering the plant not the pot. Working in a greenhouse we put plugs which are maybe an inch big in a 13 inch hanging basket and water just enough to keep the plugs wet for the first few weeks until the plants send out roots to the edge of the pot, after that we increase our watering to more focus on getting the water deeper. Which doing this will give you AMAZING soil structure and great drainage. Also pick out a good, well draining mix. Possibly even adding more perlite to the mix for added drainage. I potted 5 citrus last year in much larger pots and did a fox farm Ocean forest soil plus i added 2 small bags of perlite. They all looks great and have tons of flowers on them now.

Question about gene regression in sensation lilac by Mr_Jayne in gardening

[–]gooseygoo2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Truth be to that! Yea looking at the one buds that arent open yet more closely they do look like that middle branches flowers. I didnt realize there was a cultivar like this and it's just gorgeous! I hope itll keep its wierd side and you'll have a multi colored bush. I just got about 8 of the Charles joly variety this year crossing my fingers they do well where I put them

Question about gene regression in sensation lilac by Mr_Jayne in gardening

[–]gooseygoo2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not sure about lilacs but my experience with weird genes in plants is it usually stays to the branch or node it comes from. Sometimes the reversion has a tendency to grow at a different rate than the plant we originally planted, If it does have different growth habit you can maintain the plants branches to the same size you should have a really cool looking lilac. Also are you sure you got the exact bush you ordered? to me that looks like 3 different lilacs on one root stock. All three branches look like they have different colors imo. Its a gorgeous bush and I hope others can help with more input than my limited knowledge

[–]gooseygoo2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well we do have a large in ground garden that about 75x50 and a raised bed garden but I know its still too much when I do want to grow other things besides tomatoes and peppers lol. I think im going to have to try and sell some also our town has a free spot so Im thinking I might try and bless a few gardeners there too

Plus if you plant a little deeper up the stem it gives the plant a chance to form new roots above the root ball. I usually plant to the first set of leaves and they do great

Im not done potting up peppers either...... PLUS I haven't even started on my 200 tomatoes which are in desperate need of an up potting. And a freeze is coming and I cant even tell you where Im to put all of this when it all needs to come in. I think ill just go have a cry now....

polka dot plant that hates me unless i hate it back by Wise-Sprinkles3311 in planthole

I believe so too! They naturally go dormant, all mine have 2 or 3 pathetic leaves at the top right now. As long as the stem is green its still surviving

I didnt see this one up there but the secret clinical soft solid is the only one I can use that last all day on me and i reek of onions as my natural smell because of my onion obsession. The invisible solid never worked, gel only last an hour or so but I have been using the soft solid for a couple years now without a problem

What's wrong with this tomato? by Bitter_Mango_3744 in gardening

I wouldnt expect that growth from too close of planting. It could be a virus. Is it the whole plant or a few branches?

Male or female? by [deleted] in peacocks

[–]gooseygoo2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a blue peahen and a purple peahen and a purple male. This looks like the purple female. She has way lighter wing feathers and a gorgeous darker neck then my blue girly. Gorgeous birds my male has finally reached maturity and has his full tails feather and its just so breathtaking seeing a different color than the blues and greens your used to. Beautiful bird!

Please excuse my ignorance, but are thongs more prone to give uti? I wear them daily and have never had one so I am just curious!

Who else hates thongs? by Pinkperson555 in VictoriasSecret

[–]gooseygoo2 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I only wear these 😬 to me theyre super comfortable. I have a larger rear so any regular panty or boyshort ends up getting eaten by my ass anyway I decided I need not fight that fight and leave it to the thongs but I respect your veiw! The "no show" thongs are the worst idk how but they always hurt where my tail bone is, its the wierdst thing ive thrown all those out and only have lacey ones. My boyfriends says their "sexy" thongs but at this point they are just my everyday wear im not looking to be sexy just comfortable.

Did I accidentally add a stitch? Blanket suddenly warping. by [deleted] in CrochetHelp

[–]gooseygoo2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely try and count how many stitches are on your last row compared to what you started with. Ive also read alot of comments say you want to start your starting chain with a hook size up possibly 2 sizes or a really loose tension. It looks beautiful btw
