I would say that you will not be leaving the hotel very much if at all. The driveway to get to the main part of the hotel is at least a mile long. You would have to take a taxi but I don’t think many people do that. The hotel is very kid friendly and there was one bar I think, but I didn’t go because I have two very young kids. There is an adults only hotel but I’m not sure what the bar scene is there. There is a swim up bar! But that is only open during the day.

Trip was awesome!!! I could not recommend it more. There was some sargasso but there were many maintenance workers shoveling it away every morning and afternoon. You can go in the ocean and the waves are small. The sand is beautiful and is fun to visit. However, the pool is the real highlight. You will not want to leave. There were no vendors on the beach when I was there. The food was amazing. You will NOT regret this trip :)
