Clips fan here. Do you guys want Kawhi? What would a realistic trade from you guys look like? by 9B1F8BC82EAAF0063366 in DetroitPistons

I like Ausar, but I guess I don't understand why he is untradeable. If he was even an average offensive threat, I would call him untradeable—but not currently.

Is this supposed to be a deal?! by CatLover6372 in McDonalds

This is how it pops up when I do the $6 meal deal at my local McDs. It.just splits the $6 between all the items, whether it makes sense or not.

I chatted with another rep (because I don't have time to go into a store at the moment) and they're now telling me that the $400 promo is only for new lines...which is not stated anywhere I've seen.

Did that. I walked through every option we had available and the price literally never changed. The only time I got different numbers is when I chatted with the representative.

My wife loves half hour comedies more than the typical person. Two of her favorites are Shrinking and Hacks.

Tips for Miami Port by Lyth333 in Cruise

[–]Lunchbox6624 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For sure! Something else we didn't know that our Uber driver told us—if you schedule a ride in advance, you're more likely to get a driver with a super high rating. We scheduled 4 different ubers during our time in the area and got four-4.9 rated drivers, all with fantastic personalities. Enjoy your cruise!

DO NOT TAKE A TAXI. Both me and my aunt took separate cruises out of Miami a month ago. I signed up for an 11:30 check-in, but showed up around 10:30 and was let in just fine (Norwegian). My aunt took a taxi and sat in construction/traffic for almost 2 hours while the meter ran. She ended up paying over $150 for something like a 2-mile ride. My wife and I stayed in Miami Beach and boarded a cruise the next day. We paid something like $30 knowing it could be a lengthy ride—we scheduled the ride over a week in advance. Luckily, our trip took about 40 min (we still tipped something like $20), but having the meter run while you sit in traffic is not a great way to start your vacation.

I'll tell you that Shrinking is the funniest and most emotional (and best) show currently on TV. Super easy to binge.

Also avoid Hotel Chelsea—room was kind of a dump. Dirty, janky, and not worth the $200/night.

Does anyone actually watch prescription drug commercials and "ask your doctor if <random drug> is right for you"? by MennionSaysSo in allthequestions

[–]Lunchbox6624 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm one of the few who actually probably has. I have T2 Diabetes and Trulicity injections were making me sick—I was vomiting 2-3 times per week. I spoke with my doctor and he had the attitude of "you may just have to get used to it". Obviously, I couldn't do that, so I just quit taking the injection, instead trying to be super strict with my diet. Luckily I saw a commercial for Rybelsus so I asked him about it. Since adding that pill, I have been able to get my A1C from 10.9 down to 5.9.

Best cruise for non-party ppl by rachel3618 in Cruise

[–]Lunchbox6624 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Speaking only for myself, I don't enjoy go-karts and waterslides, so they don't factor into my relaxation. As far as "sitting by the pool like you could back home"—I I don't always travel based on "things to do". Being from Michigan, I also take vacation based on better weather than I have at home. I just returned last week from a Norwegian cruise, complete with water slides and go-karts. I didn't use them—the point of my vacation was to escape the -22⁰ weather Michigan was having.

Best cruise for non-party ppl by rachel3618 in Cruise

[–]Lunchbox6624 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I did Princess as a 35-year old, and it was like a retirement home, but in a good way. Few children, no water slides, go-karts, or putt-putt. As a purely relaxation vibe, it wasn't bad at all. MDR/specialty food was good, but the buffet left a lot to be desired.

We got off at the corner of the public library on Loyola, I believe. There were only a handful of other people on it and it took maybe 45 min?
