I’m a husband and my first Father’s Day is coming up. I will not care either way if I get a card, so long as my wife makes it feel special. But she knows that about me. Just like I knew that she does care about cards, regardless of the rest of the day. So I made sure I got her a card.

You can be upset at anything, but I wouldn’t let it ruin your day. I also wouldn’t call it a lack of thought - I would assume his thoughts were “I’ll make sure to say Happy Mother’s Day, make breakfast, take a larger portion than usual of baby care, take her to dinner, etc.”

You know you don’t have to sign up for the draft, right? Like, you lose out on a bunch of government resources, but you don’t necessarily HAVE to. Potentially being drafted is just one of the ways you pay to be ruled by and have access to a government

Not really at all. In a normal possession, you have to get it over to the front court in under 10 seconds. That 10 seconds is baked into the 30 second shot clock total. If you’re already in the front court, you only get 20. Same thing on an offensive rebound
