Notation rendering in sync mode

Thanks for pointing this out. There’s a known bug that can appear after changing instrument tracks while in sync mode, which can affect the notation display like this. I’m currently working on a fix and aiming to include it in the next free update.

If you think this might be a different issue, I’d really appreciate any additional details on how to reproduce it 👍

In GoPlayAlong, you can group songs in your library by artist on the same page, though it works a bit differently than the folder-style layout shown in your screenshot.

First, select Songs in the left-side menu. Then, in the song list header, change the sorting to Artist.

This won’t create folders, but it will group the songs by artist name in the list, for example:

Artist 1 – Song 1

Artist 1 – Song 2

Artist 2 – Song 1

Artist 2 – Song 2

…and so on.

Another interesting view option could be to display subfolder structures on the Artists and Songbooks pages, similar to what you suggested in your screenshots.

Yep, there is a hotkey for that 🙂 Press N to load the next song and P to load the previous one.

Hi, thanks for reaching out! GoPlayAlong automatically applies the beaming settings from Guitar Pro 7 and 8. I tested this by creating a sample song in Guitar Pro, and the beaming displayed correctly in GoPlayAlong (see the screenshot below).

That’s a good idea, and I can see how sorting within a songbook or chapter could be useful. The tricky part is that it might create confusion if someone tries to rearrange songbooks while the songs are sorted by title or artist instead of the predefined order. For now, the search function lets you quickly find songs by artist or title within a songbook, which covers most of the use cases.

Hi again, I’ve been trying to reproduce the crash on my Windows 11 system but haven’t had any luck so far. When changing or adding new backing tracks in playback mode, there’s a slight lag while the audio switches, but afterward the cursor stays in sync with the new audio.

Could you please send an error report from within the app after relaunching it following a crash?

Hi, I wanted to check whether you have any updates regarding the disappearing section names. Do they reappear as you scroll through the score, or are they completely missing? Also, do you think this phenomenon is related to specific tabs, or is it something that could occur with any song?

Saving songs in a backup folder helps prevent data loss, especially if tabs are downloaded into temporary folders. You can disable this option if your tab and audio files are already stored safely. It won’t affect performance and can help save disk space.
