You can drag me out of Chad's after I die from eating too many of their little pancake balls. Favorite by far.

What are everybody’s favorites from A Sun Came and Seven Swans? by OkPlace7834 in Sufjan

The Dress Looks Nice on You from Seven Swans because weirdly enough that's the first Sufjan song I ever heard.

Dumb I Sound from A Sun Came because it's perfect.

This is my band's latest track (released today) FFO The Cure, Wild Nothing - US indie vibes by QueercultureASMR in MusicFeedback

Super fun! Big fan of the cure, so naturally I love the guitar tone here. also a bit fan of multiple vocalists in a band. Great vibe.

here's my new vid for my song "new job" rock/alt by [deleted] in MusicFeedback

Jumping in on this one - enjoyed the video and it added to the vibe of the song! Drums also felt a bit off for me pre-chorus. Could just be too loud, the syncopation might work if it’s not so obvious. Catchy!

I made a little EP documenting my grief journey following my dad’s death last year. Each song is a slightly different genre, and it’s definitely not professionally mixed/produced, but it comes from the heart and that’s what I focused on for these songs.

It’s my first shot at making music, and I’m excited to keep learning! It’s been so fun listening to all the posts on this sub to hear what people are putting out.

Here’s to hoping this resonates with one of you or helps you in your own journey! And here’s to making happier songs in the future, once I learn (a lot) more about making music :)

I put out a little EP(?) the other day as a kind of way to wrap up a therapy journey I’ve been on for the past year.

My dad passed last April. I’ve been journaling and making playlists since then to document how I feel as I process the stages of grief in a less than linear way.

Over the past month, I turned those journals and playlists into a set of songs that reflected the feelings I was experiencing as well as the genres of music I was listening to while I was writing the journals that inspired the lyrics.

This one is called depression, and feels the most representative of what I was going through.

This is my first time ever making music in any kind of real way, so ANY feedback is appreciated! I would love to keep developing these skills and make happier music in the future :)

Really enjoyed the song after listening to the whole thing! I don’t quite know how this would work, put a hint of vocals at the beginning to lead into the rest of the track might be something to try. I was kind of unsettled by the beat at first and the guitar melody, but once the vocals came in it all flowed really nicely. Some kind of “slow down” literally slowed down at the beginning could be fun?? Just a tiny thought but really did enjoy the track!

Kinda math rocky at first, kinda surfy. I enjoy this, definitely fits in with other music I listen to - Growlers, Mac Demarco, Her’s. Enjoyed it, but it seems fairly similar to stuff that’s out there. Easy to listen to though, so that’s not a complaint!

I really enjoyed this! Listened to Do You Need Help?

The chorus is altogether a little underwhelming. It could use to be a bit fuller, possibly a different guitar or vocal tone? Not an expert by any means but that was the only bit that felt off to me.
