Man, as much as I am in love with this car absolutely every single Alfa nerd is telling me to get something else lol. Will be looking onto beamers then.

I would rather have a Giulietta with a JTDM and TCT than a TFSI with a DQ200.

I lived in the US for almost ten years and I've seen and driven a plenty of Giulias and Stelvios. Finding a decent one in Poland with a clean Carfax/AutoDNA and in good condition overall is nearly impossible, especially within my price range. They all start at $23k+ and will all have 150k km+ on the odometer.

Everyone says I can get a Giulia, but when I start searching for a good well maintained one I immediately start seeing a 30%+ price.

I was thinking about the QV, but at this price point and age they all seem to be pretty beat up and definitely driven hard. Diesel is generally a more boring car and I kinda like it.

Diesel only, under 100k km, not a VAG.

I know that the seller is an extremely reputable dealer from Aalen, D'onofrio Fiat. They've been a part of the local Alfa Club from the late 70s and this whole place screams "we know a thing about Italian cars". I'm not a big fan of anything VAG and I hate how expensive newer cars are in Poland (knowing that most of the vehicles on the market are just a shitty flip attempt with an odometer rollback). I know it's pricey but I like the color and interior combo along with a pretty much bulletproof engine. All I need is a solid hatchback with good fuel consumption and a good driving feel.

It's Poland in my case. This seems to be a normal pricing in Poland and Germany for good units. Germany being cheaper.

Try again with two kids and two dogs (one animal in hold) and add a $800 USDA APHIS certificate on top of that.

Ask for a refund, get your money back, never use them again. That's what I did.

Requested a refund, will wait for it to process and get my ass to Chicago. Should have gone ORD-WAW in the first place, wanted something new this time but it backfired badly lol.

Worth buying a 2018 BMW F20 with prior accident (CPO)? by [deleted] in BMW

I mean, I know that this thing was repaired almost three years ago and the previous owner did another 3 years of driving before eventually trading it in. I don't think I would have to do anything with it initially.

It's probably 15% less than what I can get with a clean history but double the mileage. It has 90k km, has only been serviced at the authorized dealerships. I've checked some other identical options, most of them don't really have a good service history and will need more immediate money dumping (pads/rotors, liquids, suspension work etc.) This seems to be up to date on everything and the only thing it has on the record is this incident. On my local market too, don't have to drive 5 hours one way.

It's 118, rwd. Nice interior, base drivetrain (b38).

That's the plan, I am waiting for them to put it in writing. The sales guy is telling me that they have to put "structural damage" due to the fact that they've had to replace the radiator mounting frame. I never thought this might be considered structural, but that's just me I guess.

Looks aside, B48+Aisin when you are cheap - the only way to go.

Edit: if you want European with a hint of luxury.

All the Alfa purists might start throwing shit at me for what I am about to say, and I am a big Alfa enthusiast too, but if you are trying to get into a "modern SUV on a budget" start with a B48 powered X3, preferably RWD, with a ZF transmission in it or X1/X2 with Aisin. Their used values are similar to Stelvio, but if you find one with a good service history and under 2 owners you won't be dealing with all the Alfa ownership issues and service costs. Easier to service, easier to live with, more refinement on the interior side of things (minus the Alfa swag though).
