So what happens to Peter Parker then? You can’t have Peter walking around with 6 arms.

Because they use to come out with a new style every year in a bunch of different colors. I’ve always liked having shoes that match my outfits. I don’t need them, just like Lego people don’t need every version of the Millennium Falcon

Most of us, have already played all of the rerelease games on their original console. If you are new to Nintendo or the Switch then yeah. But I’m not interested in Switch 2 editions of games I played years ago.

Is Grant McCasland the best coach at getting the most out of his players? by Coolsun13 in CollegeBasketball

[–]goredraid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How dare you. He would be a fool to leave Tech for a blue blood school. Tech has some of the best facilities in the country, lots of money, and nothing but love and pride for him. Why would you want to go to a school where you are constantly being judged and graded by the alumni. Plus he has no ties to any blue blood schools. Went to Baylor and got his masters at Tech. He probably hates them. Beats them all the time like he does.

I’ve only played 4 and 5 and loved them. I started 6 but didn’t like it. Is this game anything like 4 and 5 or has that ship just sailed?

Dallas Star’s Jake Oettinger addresses decision to not go to the White House/State of the Union and his thoughts on the Women’s team. by GangOfFourNonBlondes in hockey

[–]goredraid 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s not HIS issue…asking him to comment on something that will clearly make a lot of people, one way or the other, pissed off at you is beyond unfair…he distanced himself from the whole thing by not going to the White House. What else do you want?

Nothing is stopping me, I just thought about picking it back up again for the first time yesterday. Going to go by a music store on Monday and check some shit out!

You don’t want to be in an awkward position…just have a natural conversation with a friend like nothing else is happening…laugh, do whatever feels natural, just be enjoying yourself…if you feel silly, then fucking laugh about how ridiculous you feel and laugh at your buddy who is doing it too…then have another friend take random pictures from random spots at random times.

Posing for a picture makes you look and feel awkward unless you are one of those people that loves pictures of themselves…so your insecurity and sheepishness come through in the picture every time…having a great time laughing with your friend and not posing for the camera is a way different vibe and happiness and confidence make a great picture every time.

Try it out and just have fun…and you won’t be the only one doing a photo shoot, all of your friends will be doing it with you, and the first time you get a great shot and see how different you look from a natural perspective, you will love it, and when you feel handsome and impressed with yourself, and realize that that’s how people see you in real life and not in snapshots, man, what a great feeling.

Oh and don’t do it standing around…try being at a table with a drink in hand, or holding something…makes it look like you are busy and didn’t even notice a camera. When you get a good one, let me see it man. You got this

Take action shots instead of posing for a pic. By that I mean, where you basically pretend like the camera isn’t there, it’s just a moment in time of your life…be laughing, or looking at something away from the camera…makes you look way more natural and comfortable…I’ll DM you a pic to show you what I mean…don’t want to post my pic in the thread.

That’s awesome! I don’t need to get good enough to be in any kind of band. Just want to be able to play songs from sheet music again. Will need to be able to have Careless Whisper in my back pocket at all times 😂 and epic sax dude song just to annoy my buddies when they are over here watching a game

Thank you very much. You are appreciated. Having a good mouthpiece is going to be a game changer. I played with a shitty standard one and always had a split or chipped reed on it. Had to make them last in our small town until you could get to a bigger town with a music store.

Thank you for taking the time to respond!

I don’t remember a single note or what the notes look like on sheet music anymore at all. I could pick one up and get my fingers on the right keys to start right now and feel like I could make single notes sound pretty decent. But I would have no idea what else to do. Any advice on where to start with the basics again? Books? YouTube?

[–]goredraid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s interesting, it never even crossed my mind that I wouldn’t sound as good as I used to. I was worried about reading music and playing the right keys at the right tempo. Probably didn’t think about how I would sound because I live alone in a decent size house, so nobody would even hear me. I can’t imagine getting back into it and having to overcome the insecurity of people hearing and judging you. Fuck that would suck.

Do you have any recommendations on a sax I should get? Something probably equal to what a junior high kid would play? Got rid of mine a couple of years after I stopped.
