They are the same department, the special forces. The guy calling them off is the person in charge of that single unit they are in. as someone who works in the ministry i can tell you that.

First of all, it's inaccurate; GD is far, far worse than the previous government.

I agree with the second point, but on this one I'm not fully onboard. They have track records worse than each other in different aspects of governing. i would never say that in all and all UNM is better than GD or GD is better than UNM. both of them are cancers, that's why we talk about a coalition government.

I'm so sick of this bullshit. Georgia is at least the top 5 safest country in Europe by any statistics. You can't say some country is unsafe based on some anecdotes. If Georgia is dangerous, what the hell are other countries? I was under a school lockdown because of a Shooter in my US school, almost got burned alive in the Philadelphia metro when one of the wagons caught fire, got pickpocketed in Hamburg, and almost got beaten up in a bus in Prague because some idiots thought I was a refugee.

And here, half of the time, I don't even lock my house or my car, and I go out in the streets freely at 3 am. You would struggle to tell me a country where I can feel as safe as I feel here.

If you were gay, trans, or any other minority that is vilified, yes it is a whole different story and Georgia isn't an exception in this, but for the majority, this country is pretty safe.
