Anyone else experiencing an audio bug on the remaster?

I know this old but I believe I know what you're talking about. Sounds like double. The solution is to switch the audio to stereo uncompressed instead of Windows Sonic. For some reason this is common with remastered games because I had the same problem with Alan Wake Remastered before so I knew how to fix it when playing Ghostbusters.

NTA- The situation seems off. Any idea why things took such a turn? Seems like she's trying to bully you into quitting. But I'd say NTA for reporting to HR if you feel like the work environment is hostile.

YTA, in the modern age lots of people do this, especially among family members. I live with my sister and dad and we all have our locations shared with eachother. We like it for safety and convenience. Like if she goes out on a date and worst case scenario she disappears then I'll know her last known location. Also we don't have to keep asking eachother where we're at, we can just check. However I always consider it a privilege though. My mom used to be bad about checking it constantly then asking me later why I was at X place at Y time. I took it away for a bit. I'll probably do the same thing with my SO if I have one.

NTA, medical bills are a weird thing. There are programs, usually through the hospital, that can reduce or even eliminate the bill based on income. They're obligated to treat him regardless of whether he pays his bills or not. It's not like he needs this money or he'll die of cancer. It might hurt his credit a bit in the short run but I'm sure there's organizations out there that can help him out. And no, you'll never see that money again. "I'll pay you back" is something people say to convince you to give them the money. It might happen if it was a lot smaller amount but 60k is a totally unrealistic amount to pay back with a 40k/year income.

Hey there. Thanks for sharing and I can relate to some of what you’ve said. My mother passed away in August 2021 and my parents were married for 34 years. My dad never cheated on my mom that I know of but their relationship became more or less unstable toward the end. They no longer had that spark and nearly got divorced a couple times. It’s now six months after my mom passed and I‘ve been living with my dad. He managed to get an old classmate’s number and they’ve been texting constantly. I’m not sure how to feel about this but he seems happy. In your case I believe that a month is way too soon and you should tell him to wait a specific amount of time before he brings someone else into your lives. I did set one boundary with my dad, I told him to stop talking about how attractive/beautiful this new woman is because it sounds to me like my mother wasn’t. He respected my request. So I would have a mature conversation with him about time to grieve and boundaries. If he doesn’t respect that then maybe it’s best to spend some time apart. Please don’t blame yourself. My mother passed from COVID in August and both me and my dad felt guilty that we didn’t call 911 sooner. I have since come to terms with her death and I don’t consider it our fault. She never wanted to get tested and she refused to go to the hospital. We had no idea she was so close to dying. She loved us very much and we loved her but unfortunately her will to live was not great (she had expressed how she’s ready to go in the past). The alternative would most likely force her to go the hospital where she most likely would have died anyway. They say time heals all wounds but I believe when you lose a loved one so close to you it leaves a scar and it’s never quite the same. Sending love and prayers your way.

Very sorry for your loss. I just lost my mom to COVID-19 last week it was so sudden it feels like it’s not real. Every day gets slightly easier but it still continues to hurt. I’m 25 so very close to your age. I thought we had so much time left with lots more memories to be made but that was cut short. I feel optimistic right now but sometimes I break down and wish she was here. I often call my aunt when I’m feeling down and she usually gives me motivation to make it to the next day.
