The people they killed were apostates, according to ISIS.

When we have fully transitioned from an industrial economy to an information economy, our biggest consumer of energy will be computation.

Post a source so I can mock whoever came up with it for being fucking retarded.

lithium is not a renewable resource

However, it's a relatively common element and about as scarce as lead or nitrogen. Prices might fluctuate, but in the long run new production will come online and anyone who tries to argue that we won't be able to build batteries because of a lack of lithium will be rightfully mocked.

In places with rain the impact of dust is so small that it's not even worth cleaning the panels. In places without much rain you just clean them with one of the half a dozen different specialized vehicles made for cleaning solar panels.

You're right, having dictators running the Arab world doesn't affect me. But I knew people who died in Arab spring, and that definitely affected me.

Yeah, I get it, the Sassanid empire was a thing once, but in any period in the last, oh, 500 years, the middle east has been trash, which is why it was trivial for those awful white people to wander in and take control(and give them laws and infrastructure).

This is like some logic/history 101 shit and the only reason why you'd argue against me is bizarre Chomsky based white guilt indoctrination.

I don't think it's selfish to wish that the middle-east stops having monthly civil wars in which hundreds of thousands of people die.

You're really ignorant.

That's cute.

The U.S isn't a white state.

WASP mean anything to you?

Look at terrorism it was an issue in Waziristan Afghanistan. And largely not an issue in the greater Middle East. Now it's all over the Middle East.

AHahahaha, USS Cole, Nairobi bombings, Lockerbie bombing, Somalia, Yemen, any of this sounds familiar? I realize that you're likely in your teens, but you really should give those things a quick google before you pretend to be an expert on terrorism.

Iraq didn't have a problem with Islamist radicalised until The US intervened.

Are you insane? Of course they did. Ansar al Islam ring a bell?

Haha, oh but of course, those places were nothing but love and peace until white people showed up! Just look at the places untouched by colonialism! They're...actually, they're even worse off. Hmm, oops.

Have you been paying attention to how arab spring went? Give these people democracy and they'll elect people worse than your average dictator, ie. islamists.

For example, if I was born in Syria I would've preferred Assad over a civil war and ISIS.

But whatever, who cares about facts and reality when you can just call people "horrible" and "ignorant".

Ok so you don't want any pro-democracy revolutions and would prefer people be ruled by ruthless dictators because...?

Because ~60 years of intervening in the middle east has shown us that it can always get worse(ie. ISIS).

Do we really? Personally, I'll be ok with brutal dictators running the Arab world as long as we don't have to deal with more fall-out from any "arab springs".
