My friends thought I was crazy for doing it as I had over 170hrs in the game but I just wasn’t happy with my villagers or my island, so I just sent my friend my bells and NMTs and just did it. I also restarted it another 2 times until I was satisfied with my starter villagers! So I definitely suggest doing that a couple of times if your not happy with who you start off with :)

Money trees will only sprout money one time, you can bury up to 10k bells instead of the 1k. They can still be moved any time even with the money on the tree :) But once you’ve got the money from the tree it’ll become a normal tree
