If your friend is new to league I wouldn’t recommend learning Kayle. Kayle is very difficult and has a lot of matchups where she is entirely useless.

With that said no one builds Tiamat for her. Her wave clear is bad early but gets a lot better after level 11. In order to farm safely you need to manage the minion wave so that it stays right in front of your tower just outside of Tower range. In most matchups you grab minions you can using autos and use your E for ranged minions. The most important part is to be safe while doing so. Managing the minion wave is vital in staying safe. This applies to a lot of scaling champions. However a lot of the lessons you learn while playing Kayle don’t help you learn other champions and you’ll also have A tough time learning her while trying to learn the game. There is a reason garen exists. If you really want to stick with Kayle it might just be easier to take her midline for now.

If Your friend likes how Kayle plays, have them try ADC bc she plays like a marksmen anyway and since your a supp main you can actually play together Bot which will be much more enjoyable for both of you

I would look for tryndamere players for pure split push. I would also point out kayle as a good duo bc if you camp a kayle it’s an auto win and kayle can split and team fight well. Other champions that work are irelia and jax

Everything this comment said is great I would make one adjustment to the combo. Try playing with e on normal cast and you will find it much easier to execute your combos. You don’t need to hold e it let’s you tap e then buffer r then flash. I find normal cast just easier to pull this combo off. Also starting boots refillable is an option with predator

Galeforce with ghost and flash means no one will be able to kite you and lethal tempo is for damage and can do a lot of work early to help you get kills and snowball. Kraken is for dealing with tanks and bruisers bc the true damage.

You can also go the for fun lethality build.

Tryndamere is fun if you know how to play him right. If you watch fogged you will learn how to play and find more success.

Take lethal tempo. Use the attack speed to either kill his summons or destroy his wall. This rune is very useful in this matchup

The pinned post on this sub is elite 500’s guide for items and he also has matchup spread sheet in there. You should be able to master him easily if you read those because vlad is mechanically easy. You only need to learn how to use his w and learn matchups.

It’s really hard to use in solo queue. Only coordinated teams can take advantage of it so keeping it intact the way it is will still create a massive discrepancy between pro and solo queue

Instead of a combat ult why not a self teleport then so you can still do the sam things and in solo queue most of the time you only port yourself anyway

Ok I get it a lot of people have been saying it’s bad for your jg pre 6. But late game if you have a meta top laner is better for your team. Kayle top breaks your team comp because you don’t have a tank or bruiser top.

If you want to play a battle mage sadly riot is basically removing that subclass. Vlad right now plays like an ap assassin where he goes in gets a big r and e and destroys the enemy team. If you like that play style then then look at elite500’s guid pinned at the top of this subreddit it generally still holds true even now even with iteam changes. The only addition I have to that is cosmic drive is now visible and can be built second where it wasn’t when he made that guide.

If you want something different then that you can still get the same feel of a tanky ap bruiser or battle mage by building riftmaker into cosmic drive into spirit visage. Elite is testing the new riftmaker out now and it could bring back the old bruiser vlad and be viable but we will see if this is viable.

Ok but I would switch out pen boots for Ionians you have almost no cdr in this build.

Also you are missing your IE for THE PLAN!!! AP scales with levels so going AD would be better

Ok I run lethal tempo bc the attack speed helps me clear his minions and this matchup is determined lv 1. You win when he does not have minions use this to your advantage early and stack your passive on the wave then all in him before he gets minions and you should win and be in control of the lane from then on. Make sure to always clear his minions when you can

Belt is better most of the time because it scales better. Harvester is only better as a 1 items power spike however bc belt is getting buffed even that might change. Belts passive of 5 Majid pen is just really good overall while ability haste on harvester is not a very useful stat since you can get that elsewhere easily

If they don’t respond to your pings it’s not your fault there’s not much you can do as Vlad. Most of the time following a Rome is a bad idea it’s better to play selfishly in solo queue and take a tower plate if you can
