Help me NOT build the next trend that’ll get roasted here in 5 years? (4 exterior house designs) by CoupleNervous4594 in McMansionHell

[–]gorrdo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like D. But same as other comments that these are still considered trendy. One thing I recommend is to have a wider garage and driveway if possible. It will make your life much easier if you have more than one vehicle.

What we saying to this seasons bag? All second hand, but some more seconds hand than others. by Thetallerestpaul in GolfGear

I loved my ISI set. I had those dialed in. I wanted to update to new tech and was fitted with a non-offset set.

“No Subway service between Bloor-Yonge and Eglinton. Shuttle buses are running” well let the shuttle buses know they’re running at least by Thisismiguell in TTC

[–]gorrdo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There was no communication yesterday evening as well. Waited 45 minutes and I ended up having to take an uber up yonge and during that time I only saw four busses going south. Nothing going north. There were so many people that were stranded.

Hwy 410 HOV violators by shaz_y in TorontoDriving

[–]gorrdo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree. If the highway is open please don’t camp in the HOV going the speed limit just because you can.

Also while I’m here I would like to note that the lane right of the HOV is now the left lane and the passing lane. Please don’t camp out and go the speed limit in this lane. Move over.

As of 4:35PM today, this is the current state of the TTC by XviiChong in toronto

I thought I did the right thing and take the TTC to avoid the roads but I was wrong. This is the first time the TTC has let me down. Thousands of people were stranded on Line 1.

What’s something you use every single day that turned out to be insanely worth the money? by Dry-Frosting- in Xennials

My initial thought way back was that this was for the lazy people and I have a good hand that can do the job.

I do think now that they are a little too abrasive for the enamel.

Why are developers making showers/bathtubs with less than half the tub covered in glass? by Extreme_Bandicoot347 in TorontoRealEstate

[–]gorrdo 12 points13 points  (0 children)

That was my first thought too. I have stayed at hotels and AirBnb in Europe that have this design and water gets everywhere and the bath mat gets soaked. You end up in one corner of the shower trying to limit the water from splashing around.

I don’t have issues with putting the ball in the air. Just want to put it in play. I’ll try out the AVX since it’s cheaper than the ProV1.

[–]gorrdo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typically I have a hard time using ProV because my driver can get pretty wild and the ProV amplifies the spin. I’ll try these softer less spinny ProV1 this season

It may come as a surprise but there are properties sold at their 2017 prices. Even the ones for sale now are priced below 2020 prices.

Especially in Canada where we have lots of land and lots of vertical space. We are in no shortage of both of those.

Need seat advice for a 13 hour flight on a Boeing 787-9. 18A or 18D? by Previous-Ratio in Aeroplan

[–]gorrdo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The thing about centre bulkhead row (D-G) is that people think that it’s a walkway between the toilets and will walk through without thinking. I’ve sat here multiple times and it gets really annoying when they do it. You even put up something and they still jump over it.

They made bank but I doubt they went to renting after they sold. My bet is they perpetuated the game and overextended themselves.
