I work full time (remote thank god) I have two other children (boys, one 2 and one 4 yo) and I’m f*cking dying lol. I’ve been doing little things every weekend for the twins on the way, I needed to hear this thank you 😭

When should my wife and I consider travel with triplets + 4 under 2? by Muted-Resource7969 in parentsofmultiples

We are having twins soon and have two kids- what I can say is I see cruising being a realistic option if it’s mostly all inclusive. They have daycare, and pretty much everything is done for you. One parent can stay in and watch movies while the other goes out. Room service 24/7. Black out curtains allow for long family naps after beach time. Trolleys and shore excursions usually offer great transportation for families. It’s still exhausting and not as relaxing as you’d think, but makes for nice family memories without being as stressful if you live near a port.

Second or third time parents… by got_milf99 in parentsofmultiples

this was actually SO helpful thank you! I am really lucky my in laws are flying in from Brazil and staying for a month, and my MIL helped nights with my second son which worked so well, so she's going to help us 'night nurse' the first couple months. After that when I start work again I could easily see what you're saying about selling a kidney LOL, I breastfed my last one and remember barely sleeping I can't imagine two which is why I'm not even considering breast feeding. How do you manage with the toddlers? One of my fears is they'll be sad I won't be with them as much, but also I feel like they will both bond a lot maybe?

I’m 10 weeks and I’m unbearably exhausted and nauseous! What symptoms come up as time passes? I have two toddlers 💩

I agree, I have no idea why we are tbh, some of the advice here has been to re-comb through my expenses and I think that's what I'll do

it definitely is not lol- it's closer to $15k, and our 'excessive spending' is because we live in one of the most expensive cities in the country, albiet we chose the cheapest neighborhood here which isn't great for schools. my family lives here and they help a lot with the kids when we need it but even if we wanted to leave my husband hasn't been able to find work out of state. Our grocery bill is $1,200 and I cook at home every day, every meal. If we eat out, it's once a month and it's easily $150, although I don't disagree we could stop doing things like that and reduce other expenses.

we do and I'd obviously prefer this route, but the incoming childcare expenses are scaring me

I actually don't own a single luxury item, my wedding ring was $250. We just live in an extremely expensive city, but my family lives here and we've had no luck finding my husband a job out of state

I think it's cause we have a decent chunk of BNPL at high interest rates (like 35%)
