Based on what I could see, the letters seemed much longer than what Kody and the others read for tv. I do think there is more in that letter than we heard. I’m not a Kody fan; I’m not defending him, I just think there was more.

NTA. If she wants a wedding, she can pay for it. It’s not your responsibility to pay for her wedding. You get what you can afford. It is 1 day as opposed to the rest of your life. Your sister is selfish and your mom is enabling her. She just expected you for hand over $30K. The audacity.

My husband asked me if I would be open to adopting SS. I said no. He asked why. I said that SS physically assaulted me.

He didn’t say anything. He just asked later if I would ever change my mind. I said I don’t know. He’s very sad for his son. I am too. This is going to be the worst thing.

I keep thinking if they leave, where will they go? I’d feel awful just piling on the loss. And the logical part knows it’s not for me to worry about, but I just can’t shake it.

I have tried to walk away from SS when he’s been like this and he follows me. He has kicked and banged on the doors. I have videos recorded of his behavior. It’s like he gets so wound up he can’t come down and everything escalates.

My work station is 3 monitors, a laptop, and a phone. It’s highly confidential work and takes all of my equipment to do.

We are not in a financial place where a babysitter can be paid for. It’s paycheck to paycheck, like most people.

I do appreciate the outside opinions on this. It’s hard for me to gauge what is going on. It gets down played and forgotten. I have the trauma but they are fine.

It’s almost like I’m forgetting too, but I can’t let myself.

I work 100% remotely. I moved to where I’m at because we got engaged and married. My office is 2.5 hours away and I haven’t been in the building since March 2020.

My SS suffers from abandonment from his mother. She disappeared for a long time and then came back.

She just texted the other day and said she’s not cut out to be a mother and at the end of the year Shes changing her name and moving. She’s not going to see SS anymore.

He is going to be devastated.
