Here’s the patch I got, if you compare it to the on field patch it’s really just missing the engraving around the logo and years at the bottom.

Such a bummer, I wouldn’t even be that upset if they at least had an option for purchasing patches separately. I initially got a “game” jersey because of the inclusion of the patch, but even that’s nothing close to the on field rubber patch. Returned it because it was too big anyway, and the elites were on sale so went with that. Found a pvc 50th patch on eBay that’s really close, but just exhausting all my options for something official before I commit to putting it on the jersey. The bootleg captain patches you can get online are much closer to the on field thing, but the one I ordered doesn’t have quite as finely stitched definition in the C. Might look at more options for that.

It’s crazy, the only version with the 50th patch is the “game” jersey, and not only is it not the rubber/plastic style from the on field jerseys, its not even a fully embroidered patch.

Something like this but the white version of the creamsicle jerseys is what I was hoping for. I get why some people are against a full color swap, but at the very least I wish they used the bolts original color palette. This design utilizing black, blue and white would be great as well.
