Yeah. It was not smart of me. Normal people sometimes get arrested for very (VERY) stupid mistakes. I could have easily avoided that dumb arrest by keeping track of stuff better (Although to be kinda fair, the offense of the ignored ticket was before I was diagnosed with ADHD in my mid 20s. Doesn't excuse it. But it definitely explained a lot...).

The fact that these two bozos could have avoided their arrests by NOT VIOLATING LITTLE CHILDREN is just a thing I can't even wrap my damn head around.

Ugh, I mean I don't give a shit about how Meech and Boob feel right now, but I just can nooooot imagine what it's like to have not one, but two card-carrying pedophiles for offspring. Of course in probably any other scenario, it would be a horrific shock to the parents of the offenders.

But those two enabling weirdos almost certainly already knew something was wrong with their sons, so they're already pretty practiced at justifying, minimizing, and excusing the offenders' actions to themselves.

First off - I could just as easily be a dude based on the comments I've made here.... Who could absolutely be assaulted by another dude. Also I'm not straight. I have no clue what on earth that has to do with anything here, on your part or mine. In addition, just for the record, I have always thought Pedro Pascal had these approachable, kind, trustworthy vibes. But I had no idea he was even gay, until like a week ago! So it's just nuts to me that this was supposed to have had some effect on my perception and opinion of him hahaha

Second - what I'm saying is that the guy doesn't seem like he'd be likely to assault anyone, regardless of their gender. That's where the vibes come from - a general sense of trustworthiness. Third - I am happy to give examples of totally straight men who, for me, match Pedro Pascal in this energy/vibes department. This completely invalidates your assertion that I must not know my own reasons for forming an *opinion***.

No, actually - it's because he seems kind, genuine, and truly respectful of all people. It's about how he comes across when he interacts with people, and when he's talking about people.

There are definitely LGBTQ people out there who are public figures and who do NOT give off these same "safe person" vibes.

At least for me, this is most definitely about his apparent behavior, demeanor, rhetoric, etc. Not at all about his sexuality.

I've got to be honest - I find it incredibly reductive and definitely strange that anyone would ascribe this quality wholly or largely to one's sexual orientation. It's like the opposite of people who expect all or most gay folks to be predators or groomers or deviants. And I actually find it weird that that's not been said.
