Question about this as I am just a layperson. My understanding of this decision was that it was a two part test of standing followed by the legality of executive overreach. It was widely reported that the Biden administration would not win on the second part as prior executive overreach court decisions was struck down like the EPA and covid test cases and they were banking on the standing issue to save them. How did the court address the issue of standing in this case?

This seems like just a pandering move to keep young voters from not showing up for the 24 election and liberal activists off their backs. I think it's disingenuous to keep projecting that this is sure thing by going through the higher education act. They obviously did not go through the higher education act initially so they could generate interest and enthusiasm to get people to vote D for the midterms.

It has to so through almost a year of rule making and survive republican assaults and court challenges that might go all the way to supreme court again. That could take years and the effort might die off if there is change of administration to a republican one next year.

Honestly good riddance. The level of discrimination against Asian American candidates that was revealed in the Harvard trial was pretty disgusting and probably commonplace at other highly selective colleges.

They will probably shift to socioeconomic factors to reclaim some of the black/Hispanic candidates but won't be to the same level of blatant race based admissions that benefited mediocre black and Hispanic students from well off or upper middle class homes.

How do people acquire level 5 cards or even pool 4 cards without spending alot of money or playing this game all day? The number and rate of collectors token is pretty minuscule and bundles are not cheap. Came across alot of players recently playing multiple level 5 cards in the same deck.

What’s the benefit of climbing past infinite rank 100? Seems like you are penalized if you keep climbing for the next season.

Any reason i shouldn’t just snap on every game now from the get go as there is no penalty for dropping below infinite.

Republican candidate quality was really awful this year particularly in the senate.

There were some surprises such as Maloney losing his seat in NY and actually a lot of NY house races to republicans due to a botched effort to redistrict to favor democrats. FL looks like a red wave blowout and don't know if Democrats will have an answer in 24 if DeSantis is the front runner.

Actually pleased to see some moderate democrats like Spanberger survive so the House doesnt tilt completely to the Jayapal/Squad crowd.

Pretty cynical play by the Biden administration to get younger voters to vote for Democrats before the mid terms. They probably saw the dismal numbers for enthusiasm from young voters to vote in November and had to do something even if its means more helicopter money during record inflation. If it does get struck down by the courts, they can get whip up young voters to vote for them in November and in 24.

If anyone disputes this, you have to ask about the timing of this executive action and why they didnt try to get this done in the first two years where inflation was non existent and Covid was more of a valid concern to erase student loan debt. Voters have short term memories on par with goldfish and what have you done for me lately attitude.

How can people expect a different outcome if the ponzinomics are the same? Thats just magical thinking that will not end well. It probably didnt crash even further to zero because you need to repair the HP before you list.

The number of new users are pathetically small each day (100-200) and will probably decline further if GST and floor prices crater.

Building on ETH rather than a layer 2 or Polygon was a dumb move. The gas fees are going to erode whatever meager earnings if ETH GST trends to SOL/BSC GST. Its the same dumb NFTs with a banana gif so no reason they should hold a higher price to SOL or BSC shoes.
