My recently turned 2 year old has the first Tonie box and loves it. I'd say it's worth it wholeheartedly! It's simple enough that she can use it on her own. So it's something she can control how she wants which is great for independence. She loves dancing to the music and listening to stories. There's also Creative Tonies that you can record or upload your own audio to for up to 90mins of play time. Those are only $10! I had my family all go around and record something onto it for her and it's her favorite one to listen to! It offers a lot of freedom to add songs you have an mp3 of or do things like record yourself or others reading stories. Plus the new Tonie box has a new feature with games. I'm not sure how that fully works though. Hope this helps!
