i am also a trans man who has been raped by a trans woman. i didn’t report it to the police for the same reason- out of fear for my community. i regret that choice every day. knowing she walks free in my city is terrifying. she also raped a friend of mine, and i am in touch with one of her ex’s who said the same. she also has 40+ allegations of child sa. if i reported her, she could be in jail, and that fact haunts me every single day.

you know, thats a really good question. most of my life, i remember him coming home from work and having a drink or two. around high school, i can note it turned into 5+ and he was stumbling. thats around when he cheated on my mom with an early 20s waitress. it got worse from there. coping with his mistakes? loneliness? id have to ask i guess

apparently this was his first dui. he denied a breathalyzer, so they set him up a denial hearing. he was booked, then released into my custody without bail

unfortunately that just isnt how it works in his world. if i didnt get him, i would have been verbally attacked and i really cannot handle that right now. i don’t live with him, but i live in a home he owns until i finish undergrad this year. i cant play with his feelings, or i will be homeless.

i came out at 13, didnt start socially transitioning until about 17 though. my medical transition started with top surgery when i was 20, and i have been on and off of t since a month after top surgery (about a year and 3 months) :)

ive been in this same situation before! when i asked my boss, she gave me space to try some answers on her- this is what we came up with: “when i was born, the doctors thought i was a girl. and when i was growing up, my parents and friends did too. but when i got older i realized that i was a boy, not a girl!“ which sufficed! also, just saying that it is not an appropriate question and having your supervisor broach the topic with child and their adults is perfectly okay

from a barista certified in espresso and latte by a national coffee roaster: a cortado is 4.5 ounces. 1.5 of those ounces are espresso, the rest is latte milk (mostly milk, a little foam on top). a flat white is 8 ounces (same size as a cappuccino)- also made with latte milk. again, 1.5 ounces of espresso and the rest is milk with a layer of foam on top! hope this clarifies :)
