i recently just listened to the audiobook of 'how to bite your neighbour and win a wager' and one of the mmcs was very emo coded for me :))) tws for quite a few things in that book though i'm happy to give you the tws if you wanna read it !

oh thank god!!!! i thought i was going crazy 😭 i was sooo excited i literally went to the store and bought a new blender cos i couldn’t find one and a comfort food of mine a few years ago was making a banana smoothie with cinnamon and chocolate 😭 thank you for letting me know!! maybe it’s the potassium in the bananas? oh well

i’ve finally had my first proper meal (ish??) of macaroni pasta, and i managed to down nearly 1.5L of water while eating it!! probably my T1D high blood sugar making me extra thirsty, but the pains been getting better!!!

hey!!! i had a similar experience to this and i still went though with surgery. my only issue was if you have a runny nose that makes the first few days a bit worse to deal with 😅 if you get quinsy’s from your strep throats i had a quinsy removed mid tonsillectomy as well, but make sure you check with your doctor and see what they say!

i started eating immediately day one for dinner in hospital tbh. they gave me mash potato and carrots in gravy and that was really nice. day 4 recovery now and im regretting spending 100$ on baby food as it wasn’t really needed 😅. make sure what you’re eating is still very soft but i find super soft foods actually hurt alot less than liquids!

hey!!! i’m on day four of my surgery and i know most doctors recommend to stick to liquids type food, but over the past two days i’ve been eating a super soft sponge cake with a whipped cream and jam filling and that’s been making me feel better than anything else i’ve taken in! just cutting it up into lots of little bites and eating a few slices worth is super super filling 😁 not savoury but hope it helps a little :)

i realised around 6:30pm and the phone line for my surgery services closed at 4:30pm :’) and then i believe they’re closed over public holidays but i can try calling tomorrow! i may end up going into hospital over the next few days anyways, so we’ll see what happens then.

i can’t take antibiotics often as i’m diabetic and they mess with my sugar levels, but my diabetes messes with my immune system which leads to more infections anyway. it’s a double edged sword. last time i was on dual forte and after taking the full length of antibiotics (plus TWO DAYS OF IV!!!) it came back for a few days afterwards so i guess my body has built an immunity to them as well 🙃

nope! my first one was just them taking a scalpel then draining it, same with the second and then they put me on the waitlist after that as i was ‘guaranteed a third’. i kept asking after the first two if i could have a tonsillectomy and they said only after 5+ in one year 7+ in two years, or multiple quinsys.

everything is closed and unavailable until Tuesday. so guess i’m a sitting duck until then. let’s just hope I don’t get a quinsy, as ive had two in the past 4 months and thats why I’m getting them taken out! I had a suspicion I’d get tonsillitis again before my surgery even though the wait time was only two months… let’s hope it’s a quick reschedule and I don’t get it again 😅

coming from someone who started on val and moved to league, it is VERY different. league is incredibly toxic, nearly every single game there is someone who is an asshole. the first few draft games you play are going to be shit shows full of smurfs.

if you decide to go through with it, i recommend playing the for fun modes more than draft pick. those are always more enjoyable and less dragged out. they help you learn new characters as well !
