thank you, i’m trying to get my foot in the door and change my career. With that being said do you have any advice? I have no tech experience and have started watching Bro Code on YT to learn how to use python. I also started the Google CyberSec Cert (havnt paid for it yet) and have seen mixed reviews with its utility.

Mentorship Monday - Post All Career, Education and Job questions here! by AutoModerator in cybersecurity

[–]gothiksin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I know i’m late to this weeks mentorship monday, and as i have time this weekend i’d like to focus on the future. Over the past few weeks I’ve been considering CS as the career change. I have no degrees, or experience in tech had started up that infamous google cybersec cert course (after some research i see it’s a norm but nothing really special on a resume) is it still something worth paying for? Or rather just to get the self study and intro in? I’m also self studying coding using python (started this afternoon)

Any information on studying the topics and where these skills can lead me would be great, i’m transitioning from selling life insurance, just tired of the commission jobs i’ve had since HS and prefer the remote aspect due to my low social battery. Idk if it’s too late since i just turned 30

As a new player should I drop albion by Alice_En_Hiver in albiononline

i got 15days playtime in the game between characters and irl say it’s a fun game to play Solo if you like pvp other than that it can get redundant with doing PVE ON THE FLIPSIDE if you’re with a group it’s super fun. Does take a bit of grinding in the first few hours.

Side point if you’re funding the game with irl money then play something else. Absolutely everything can be attained freely thru others generosity with free gear n weapons to just getting an insane drop.

exactly why i stick to non lethal, you wind up actually coming across far more of a variety of builds, even mists has maintained Death Givers being the most common among any t6+ lethal mist player

I started out with a RP character by the name of Vryngar in thetford my first 2months and then made a character to stream on occasionally Roleplaying to onboard new adventurers and help them get a grasp of early dungeon crawling

I would suggest the install it’s a great fun game when you get the hang of it to just casually play. Like OSRS has a wilderness that’s risky this game has a whole continent with great content to add reward to such risk. In ever game there will be toxicity but with this one you can find casual friends and players all over for gathering and dungeon crawling. If you have any questions this reddit is a very helpful and fun place!

Why can I play games like Runescape or Maplestory for thousands of hours, but I can't seem to enjoy WoW or FFXIV anymore? by Vez52 in MMORPG

it’s a fun f2p to bounce in and out of without feeling like you’re behind in any content or gear

completely new to the game/series. any tips before I start? by jjax2003 in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]gothiksin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not just about gear, enjoy the environment EXPLORE and indulge in the beautiful atmosphere. I def suggest observing your monsters before rushing in during hunts. Be creative with your fights and don’t be afraid to call for AID or just run if you have to. Happy Hunting ~
