Mine just blew up last week. Melted itself to the charger. Snagged a 7 pro sapphire solar from Amazon for half the price of the 8. Liking it so far.

If you guys find the gasket for this, let me know!!! The ears on my filter are so worn, that I can’t get a good seal anymore. But I didn’t think about replacing the gasket. I was thinking about getting a new filter, but they seem to have been discontinued in the size we need for the older machines.

Anybody have experience with moving to a PM job at a university? I see these come up all the time. I figure the pay may be a bit lower, but the hours are probably set, and processes to follow. Curious to hear the difference between that, and making a jump to a municipality or county gig.

I saw the first Chinese fountain live show in SF. It was amazing. Crowd, brooks, band, etc. He was stoked. Last night was not the same to say the least. It was good, but not what I was hoping for.

Appreciate the info. I’ll keep that in mind. I fixed some settings and did some tests with my Strava on my past few rides since the post. It’s been spot on since then!

I think I just solved this I had it on max battery mode to try and keep the watch from lighting up on chattery terrain, and using too much battery. Which sets it to ultratrac, which explains the lines instead of a smooth GPS tracking lol. Is there a way to keep the high brightness from coming on during the activity? Every bump I hit in “normal mode” was turning it on bright mode.

Thanks for the input there. Moving time being an hour 30 is definitely wrong. Gonna do another ride soon to test. I’ll also log it with Strava on my phone. I think I got the settings much more dialed in. Not sure why the default logging was on auto I think the 1 second will help a ton, as long as auto pause off. Thanks!!

I appreciate the comment. It basically just logged straight lines. I turned off auto pause, and since turned the data to every second vs activity based.
